Day 2 of Tekken Tag 2

Currently get slapped around by something worse than a blocked toilet. What an absolute turd of a boss Mokujin is. This is the worst Tekken since Tekken 4.

Edit: & done. Thanks for ruining my evening Mokujin.

I'm not so sure about Van Helsing. The hit detection for the combat feels very light, as in it lacks the satisfying punch you get from slaying monsters and demon's in Diablo 3 and Victor Vran. The hud and skills menus are a convoluted mess and the control system for enabling abilities is tied to the right anologue stick along with the map, so as you might imagine said map keeps popping up during those more intense battles which is very annoying. I've tried re-mapping the buttons, but choices are limited due to the amount of inputs needed. The transfer from M&K to control pad hasn't been very well implemented at all.

I'll stick with it for a little longer, see if it grows on me, but I can't see that happening as of right now.

Thems the ones!

I would always bait them with a bow back towards the town and let the guards kill them.

There were too many dragonflies and this would not work out great. You could kill half the NPCs off that way

Luring them into town always produces amusing results.

I'm currently in the Barrow Downs doing jobs for lazy assed Dwarfs. Always tough that part.

I was far too young and bad at the game, I only ever got off the opening island once, and when I did I just traveled around playing the card game at every inn I could find.

Gwent has nothing on it

Acromage!

Yep, strawberry float Gwent.

M&M VII is available via GoG if you ever fancy returning to it.

Yeah, I had issues trying to play Van Helsing (PC version) as I have to use a fairly unique control method to play games (currently a mouse and a single button operated by my chin with a couple of voice activated commands that don't always work well unless I turn all in game sounds off) and it just didn't seem to be worth the hassle to get it working properly.

Diablo IiI, Titan Quest and Grim Dawn are all far better ARPGs that work far better for my complicated physical needs so I just stick with them instead.

Yes it's not the best set up and no doubt more of a nightmare for yourself.

Oh, and Titan Quest and Grim Dawn.

Bit of FH3 before heading off to work. Definitely become my chill out game of choice for the moment.

I've started Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker on Switch. I was fortunate to get it for just under twenty quid thanks to receiving a ten pound eBay voucher :o .

Oh, man... Toad is ridiculously cute... *stupidly* cute  . The wee little tunes are so neat, too, with that start-up ditty already embedded in my brain! Da, da-da-da, Da, da-da-da :toot: .

I'm trying to collect all three stars, complete the "challenge" requirement and find retro-Toad on each stage before moving on to the next one. I'm on level 3 and the challenge is to complete the stage by only moving the platforms a maximum of three times. It's tough!

Dang! Toad just rocks!

Some more Fist of the North Star, after a bit of a slow intro it's really getting good now.

Still ploughing through BioShock 1 and...the remastered version is doing it's best to make me hate it. It looks great, considering the original game's age, but it won't. Stop. Crashing. At random times too. Add in a non-existant auto-save and I've had several losses of over an hour's worth of gameplay.

Is that the PC version? I've had a few graphical glitches happen while playing, but no crashes - yet.

Yeah. The texture loading bug from the original version has been carried over too apparently. It's actually quite a shonky 'remaster' in that it's not a remaster at all I don't think. There's a few updated textures and some of the models look a tiny bit more detailed but it's quite disappointing really.

The strawberry floating game isn't though. Set to easy it's still an incredibly engaging experience. Probably my 9th or 10th full playthrough I think.
