I can heartily recommend Space Invaders Extreme.

So far this year, I have eaten NO mince pies.

I've heard more people say they prefer the shape of the original DS over the DS Lite. That may be, but the screen and backlighting of the Lite is such an improvement, it makes it a pain to go back. I still have my chunky DS as well and used that when my Lite was sent to Nintendo 'cause it was broken - it really felt like a step back.

If it's not coming till Lite sales slow down then I don't think we'll see it any time soon, if ever.

I really can't see the DS running out of steam for a few years and by then you'd have to think Nintendo will be ready to launch a new machine.

The Lite is the perfect DS, making it smaller will probably mean taking out GBA functionality (Which given the success of Guitar Hero On Tour they certainly don't need to) and the screens can't get any smaller without the touch screen functionality in games going a bit odd.

The Lite is a great handheld that doesn't need an overhaul. I just wish it could play Game Boy/Game Boy Color games

It'll never happen, but I'd like to see a DS with a similar size to the original, but with the screen upgrade the Lite got.

As it stands I can't justify replacing my old DS with something that offers some improvements, but also some (albeit minor) set backs.
