Nothing in that video that isn't Mass Effect 2 with a splash of paint. After games like The Witcher that's nowhere near enough to get me interested. Which I'm sure is devastating to BioWare.

Loved ME2/3 (other than the "plot" of 3 :P) but this is leaving me a little worried.

DA:I in space doesn't sound appealing (enjoyed DA:I immensly when playing - but it's been far surpassed by recent games).

I'm not going to say it's all doom and gloom just yet but in no way have I played the series because of it's combat which we're seeing alot of.

That FOV during combat though, can barely see anything.

Yeah, not feeling this at all. Hopefully it plays better than it looks.

If that's what they believe is a good demonstration of their combat system, then I can only laugh. Person playing is a joke.

My favourite part was when they used the flamethrower on the robot with the SHIELD then tried to melee it.

If you're going to show off a specific combat style, at least do it with enemies it's likely to be effective against. :fp:

Yeah I can't see LotSB, Arrival etc on the store page anywhere.

That's pretty nice of them.

Edit - Oh no if you go to the game in your library all still there to buy...and still for bloody BIOWARE POINTS :fp:

I loved ME2 but 3 was kind of a disappointment and much less memorable. I think the main problem was that it was busy trying to tie up loose ends from the previous games and failing badly rather than having a plot arc of its own.

Hopefully it carries on the recent tradition (set by the likes of Watch Dogs 2, FF XV, The Last Guardian) of games failing to wow me in video form, but which end up being thoroughly entertaining to play. Those mech enemies can do one, though.

10-hour trial of Mass Effect: Andromeda out five days before US launch, seven days before UK launch

For EA/Origin Access subscribers only.

EA plans to release a 10-hour trial of Mass Effect: Andromeda for Access subscribers.

The hefty trial of BioWare's sci-fi action RPG comes out on 16th March - five days before the full game comes out on 21st March in the US (it's 23rd in the UK). It'll surely let you make a decent dent in the game before it launches proper.

I did like the little bit about being 20,000 Sols adrift at C.
