Anyway, here's my latest feeble effort - 'Leaving Simla'

A track heavily influenced by the likes of Enigma, Deep Forest, etc. I call it 'fourth world' music - a mixture of eastern and western musical influences. Recorded with Reaper software and mastered with Slate Digital vsti. You might like, you might not.

(streams off SoundCloud, but you can also download if you wish)

Far from dreadful.

Not my cup of tea though.

Same, levels sound allright, good understanding of chord progression and when to whack a sample on top etc..

Same again, I enjoyed it but i'm just not really into that kind of music. Did find it to be nice ambient background music though.

You seriously underrate yourself Cal, I really enjoyed that and found it painted a beautiful picture in my mind.

Thank you. That's really nice. Just the kind of effect I was hoping to create. :)
