I've got a couple;

- Finalise my Divorce/Sell Current House/Buy New House - Start my life again
- Once I've settled get back into the gym and get back into shape.

1) Lose weight: don't have time/will/effort for exercise so this will be entirely controlled by my diet. I've drawn up a pretty strict schedule, hoping to get down to the 11-12st range (currently in the 14-15st range).

2) Sit and pass the PPQ exam: my employer is making a push to get everyone in my department chartered (on their dime), this is the next and penultimate step for me.

3) Get a promotion: this is however contingent on a vacancy becoming available, as I'm very happy at my current employer and in my team.

Good luck mate. A couple of my friends have done this, seems very demanding in terms of time but worthwhile.

1. Stop being quite so obsessed over politics and letting it affect my mood – the sheer insanity of the Johnson/Truss circus is over, so I think there will be a lot less drama and it will be hopefully easier to not let it become all-consuming, even though things will still be awful and the government itself will still be a moral abomination. We just have to get through this year and then it will be all about the build up to a GE in 2024.

2. Keep up the fitness and improve it – illness destroyed me in the latter half of 2022 and made this really difficult.

3. Get better at actually doing my creative writing project; ideally get back into piano composition as well.

4. Take steps towards a promotion at work – don't really want to do this, but I can't stay in the same role forever and I could do with more money.

5. Create new life – a sibling for my son.

- Start a business
- Finish and release my first game for the playdate
- Wedding planning for next year...
- ...and getting in shape ahead of it!

Those are the big ones. Lots of stuff I want to get done around the house but we'll see what actually happens (probably not as much as I'd like). Several other creative projects I'd like to get done but can't really commit myself to either.

No super specific goals, but less time on social media/phone in general is probably the main one.

Cheers mate, yeah I have heard it can be quite the commitment but it will be worth it in the long run I’m sure.

I typed and printed all my goals and have stuck them on my pin board.

Will be a visual reminder and also good to tick things off along the way.

Just a couple really,

- Lose a bit more weight, I’m still hovering around 12 stone which is probably still around 1/2 a stone too heavy really, need to get the chocolate I got bought for Christmas eaten and then make another start on the 5-2 diet (which worked really well for me last time I tried it) alongside a bit more regular exercise which I’ve completely lost the motivation for over the past 6 or so months.
- Get a new job, frankly I’m completely fed up of retail now and need a change, there has to be something better out there for me that’ll allow me to finally buy a house on my own.

Unlikely either will be achieved as I’m a massive procrastinator :fp:

Main things are:

Muddle through being a dad in positive manner.
Continue on working through my personal demons and issues.
Learn Age of Sigmar properly and paint all current models in my box of shame (unless I won't use them. Stupid Crossboos).
