I suppose at least Walmart can't ruin Starfield and Elder Scrolls VI reveals now.

I'm assuming that must have had something to do with them announcing both games so early.

Apparently TES6 is in pre-production, so basically 2022 if we're lucky.

I think Bethesda got tired of people asking about it so put out the teaser just as a way of saying "Jesus! Okay, we've started making another Elder Scrolls. Now stop bugging us."

The talk of Starfield being a 'next-gen' game also indicates it will not be out next year and is more likely to see the light of day 2020 when new consoles are rolling out.

So the TES6 reveal was the same as when Nintendo announced Metroid Prime 3, when in fact all they had actually done was write the name on a napkin and say, "yes."

One day, I know we'll meet again, under the Iron Sky...

I'd imagine so. It's got to be really early in the first year at the latest or it's not going to be out for well over 3 years and that would annoy people quite a bit.

So Bethesda are going to launch a new Elder Scrolls game on brand new hardware bought by eager early adopters.

Is... Is there a legal limit on how many bugs are allowed to exist in all video games at any one time because I think we might need to some legislation passing here.

As a reminder, Oblivion (floating paintbrushes and all) launched on the Xbox 360 (RROD and all) 4 months after the 360 launched.

If there isn't a law after that, there never will be.
