Unless you have prime, Shopto have them for cheaper overall (and I got my case already form them, turned up on Thursday)

Went to PSVita Rooms on Oxford Street this afternoon. Had my first proper go of a Vita by playing demo versions of,

Uncharted - I enjoyed it, definately looking like a solid release title.
Gravity Rush - Knew nothing about this before but definately going to get it now. Beautiful game. Just hope the final version gets an English voiceover.
Wipeout - Well....it's Wipeout. Not bad, but nothing special like people seem to male out.
Ultimelate Marvel versus Capcom - Phoenix Wright vs Chris Redfield. The game was enjoyable, but seemed a tad on the slow side.
Little Big Planet - Froze 10 seconds after starting and required a reset :fp:

There were some other things too, but not every unit had every game and some people seemed to be hogging machines (particulalry the two with Fifa) for 30-45 minutes at a time.

I did come across my biggest problem with the Vita today though. The sound. Even at maximum volume and with heaphones, the sound the unit put out was pitiful. Maybe it was the environment, but playing this without heaphones will be virtually impossible if there is any background noise whatsoever.

Finally pulled the trigger on Amazon: too late to guarantee a Wednesday delivery, however. I'm still waiting on the £10 voucher from Nectar too, I'll probably put it towards Blazblue CSE Limited when it arrives. Or I could save myself a tenner and buy the standard edition, since I only really want the Song Interlude CD. Decisions, decisions...

I thought it looked quite nice. It has some oomph for a handheld for sure but obviously needs compelling games as that doesn't count for much with a handheld just like PSP.

Has potential. Should be good once cheaper and with a library. One to watch in a year or two.

Christ! What an awful advert! I was half expecting it to be for Tesco Mobile or Paddypower

Just been looking at some Unit 13 videos, looks like it might be one to pick up when it goes below £20.

Mutant Blobs is another launch title, via PSN. Everyone seems to be raving about it too. So many games at launch :fp:

My initial "only getting Lumines" still stands for the retail games but I can see myself getting either 3 or 4 of the PSN ones. Which means I wouldn't have enough left for Godhand *gasp*

Of course, I could just buy another cheap PSN card. Which would mean that I then had some balance left over. Which would start things all over again.

So many games at launch!

How does this Amazon offer work? As it does not seem to knock anything off the price. Do I need to preorder or just add to basket?

It's cocktail time!. Then again when isn't it.

*orders another PSN card*

Just complete the order as you normally would and the amount is taken off the price at the end. You'll see a minus amount for about £45 (depending on which game you went for) in the order breakdown.

Just been playing my 3DS and realised, I'm really going to miss not having a cradle when I'm using Vita. Is there one out there to buy?

There is a dock station/cradle, official one too, IIRC. Import only at the moment.

Do you often contemplate the complexity of life?
