Want to transfer something over to the computer. Can't. Requires a system update first. Try to update. Can't. Not enough battery left (despite it being connected & charging via USB). Must wait.

It's stuff like this that makes the Vita at times so strawberry floating tedious.

I've always found the battery drains far too quickly in standby. Pretty much need to have it on charge whenever I'm not using it.

Anybody getting TableTop racing? It's out today, from the co-creator of WipeOut.

Only a fiver, and reviewed reasonably well on Sixth Axis.

Ridge Racer Ultimate Edition is on sale for a tenner on PSN, is it worth it? I know about all the bullshit problems with splitting up the game that happened around launch but now that this package includes everything is there actually a good game behind it?

This would make it Vita game No.12 that I own even though I still don't have a Vita. I'll get one before Christmas I swear.

[edit] strawberry float it, I just bought it anyway.

Anyone intending to pick up Sword Art Online this week? Providing it's not stupidly priced I'll likely be picking it up. I have a feeling it may be stupidly priced though. They have Xillia 2 up for £44.99 -_-. Namco Bandai's games typically drop in price quite quickly digitally too.

Disgaea 4 should be here on Wednesday. Every time I think I'm moving away from Vita they find some way to pull me back.

Here's to another couple hundred hours, champ.

I'll be picking up Sword Art Online at the end of the week. Just have to finish Final Fantasy X-2 first. I'm hoping that it's around £29.99. I've heard it's suppose to be a good price when it release in America tomorrow.

Freedom Wars launch details from the PlayStation Blog.

Image

To begin, we are incredibly thrilled to officially announce that Freedom Wars will launch in Europe on Wednesday, 29th October 2014, and in the UK and Ireland on Friday the 31st for €29.99/ £24.99.

For those looking for a head start in reducing your sentence within the world of Freedom Wars, our participating retailers are offering the same pre-order DLC as the original Japan release. These items include:

Limited Edition Costume – Personalize your Freedom Wars character with Formal Wear
Powerful Starter Weapons – Upgraded melee and long range attack weapons
Limited Edition Sticker Set – For in-game use
Combat Pack Item – Medical Supply Set

I'm really happy they're putting out a physical copy.

Did anyone catch the Vita ad that's been running recently? Featuring Minecraft, Lego: LOTR and Tearaway? I was very surprised. I'm hoping we'll see some new Vita stuff on that Japanese stream on September 1st.

Earth Defense Force V2 announced for PS Vita

D3 Publisher is bringing Earth Defense Force 2, released in Europe as Global Defence Force, to PS Vita as Earth Defense Force V2, this week’s Famitsu reveals.

Due out in Japan this November, the game features higher quality graphics, the new “Air Raider” class introduced in Earth Defense Force 2025, four-player online support, and over 400 weapons. It’s also possible to play every mission in co-op.

The standard version will cost 5,200 yen (5,616 yen with tax), and a “Double Enlistment Pack” will cost 6,980 yen (7,538 yen with tax).

Speaking of table top racing, i wish they'd bring back micro maniacs. That game was amazing. it was like a cross between mirco machines and smash brothers

So I decided to go through all the Vita games on the store to see which ones I actually own, either through buying them normally or as PS+. Turns out my orignal estimation of 12 was way off. (I haven't included cross platform stuff that I've played on PS3).

Big Sky Infinity
Blaze Blue Continuum Shift Extend
Chronovolt
Doki Doki Universe
Dragon's Crown
Everybody's Golf
Fez
Gravity Rush
Jet Set Radio
Knytt Underground
Lone Survivor Director's Cut
Lumines Electronic Symphony
Metal Gear Solid HD Collection
MotoGP 13
PixelJunk Monsters Ultimate HD
Proteus
Rayman Legends
Rayman Origins
Ridge Racer
Sine Mora
Sly Cooper Thieves in time
Sonic & All Star Racing Transformed
Street Fighter X Tekken
Surge Deluxe
Tearaway
Touch My Katamari
Uncharted Golden Abyss
Unit 13
Velocity Ultra
Virtue's Last Reward
Wipeout 2048

31 :slol: :fp: (45 if I include cross-platform games) I have no idea what half of these games are. I don't even know where to begin when I do get a Vita.

Don't play Tearaway first, everything after will be a shade disappointing.

And don't play Rayman Origins at all. Legends is better and has a bunch of levels from the original game.
