Shocking play calling from the Seahwaks, even people who never watch the NFL have been asking me what the Seahawks were doing throwing it in that situation. I dont think anyone will ever be able to explain it.

Pete Carroll's 'explanation' was that they saw NE's goal-line defence personnel and thought that their own offence personnel would do better passing and they didn't want to waste a time-out switching players in. Still doesn't make sense though :lol:

just watching the highlight again, Butler makes an amazing play - he just goes straight for it - it's not all the Seahawks fault.

Yeah he doesnt get enough credit for making a great diagnosis of what was happening and going for it.

It was 2nd down though!!! If it didn't work he could simply have tried again, as someone said to me today, they didn't even fake it to Lynch, which makes even less sense :lol:
