You know part of the reason I started supporting the Jets was because I love how ridiculous they are, I was worried that might not be case now Rex has left. Oh how wrong I was

It really is a gloriously hilarious situation but I think my favourite part is him being claimed by Buffalo. Rex decided that any man who breaks Genos jaw is a man to have around.

Sky Sports have confirmed they've nabbed the Sunday late night game for the next 2 years. Sky now have all 3 Sunday games, Monday nights (pinched from Eurosport), and Thursday games.

The final 6 weeks of the season however will also air on Sky 1.

Schedule

New Orleans Saints v Houston Texans (pre-season) Sun 30 August

New England Patriots v Pittsburgh Steelers Thu 10 Sept Midnight

Chicago Bears v Green Bay Packers Sun 13 Sep 5.30pm

Denver Broncos v Baltimore Ravens Sun 13 Sep 9pm

Dallas Cowboys v New York Giants Mon 13 Sep 12.30am

This basically just leaves a highlight show, Superbowl, and 3 London games for terrestrial. The 6pm and 9:25pm Sunday games will now be "blacked out" on the NFL Game Pass service.

Last Man Standing II is open for signups, you should all go do that.

While Im here can anyone explain to me what the strawberry float is going on in Washington, does Gruden really think that Kirk Cousins and Colt McCoy are better QB options than RGIII? I was never his biggest fan but its plain for anyone to see that he has more talent than those 2 guys, seems utterly insane to give up on a guy like that, especially considering how much he cost to get in the draft.

I think it is the fact that RGIII gets hit on nearly every play, sure he is behind a bad O line, but Cousins and Mccoy are not getting hit as often. So a lot of the blame has to be put on him, he wont last the season playing like he is

Awww looks like the Judge has overturned the Brady suspension

Oh well it was daft getting a 4 game suspension for a little bit of air, made sense for his lack of cooperation, but meh

In a move that should surprise noone, Brady has had his suspension quashed, he will be free to play every game this season. Let the good times roll.

RGIII gets $16 million if he gets injured this season, its purely financial.

Oh and we gave the Giants a beating 8-)

Did my 3rd NFL fantasy draft last night, this year will be the year. Really love the way NFL.com runs it, really is an awesome thing, and the draft is surprisingly quick. I have run it for a load of co-workers each year it gets a bit bigger.

Got an A+ draft grade, predicted to win it all :datass: (even with 3 Jets players) Just need to win it now, last year I suffered with awful running backs, so I filled my bench with them this year. Really happy with the collection I have.

Its almost time for some real actual NFL games to be played, our collective nightmare is over! So obviously my brother chooses this Sunday to come home so I have to go do family stuff instead of spending the first NFL weekend of the year panned out on the couch.

PickTV and Sky have announced the Green Bay Packers @ Chicago Bears from 5.30pm to 9pm this Sunday (13th September) will be free for all on Freeview channel 11.

And the BBC have announced exclusive free-to-air rights on the 3 Wembley games (BBC2, online apps, and the red button) & Superbowl 50 for the next 2 years. In addition to that a highlights show will air every week on BBC2 from November.

As usual I am going to predict an AFC and Superbowl winning season for the Tennessee Titans. Have to be right one of these days, right?

I don't think the Saints won't be the same as before and they lost to Cardinals last night. :dread:

No shame in that really, the Cardinals are a good team, if they can keep a healthy QB on the filed they could do very well this year.

I didnt get to see much this weekend sadly, damn family events ruining things, the Broncos game was on in the pub though so I got to see a bit of Manning and Flacco stink the place out.

Its probably too early to say the Bills are a good team but they certainly look like they could be a little dangerous, really not looking forward to facing them this week, its shaping up to be a serious banana skin now. :dread:

Yeah I'm not hopeful Chicago can get much out of this weeks game against the Cardinals. You never know though, we gave Green Bay a game on Sunday.

Bills & the Jets are very similar so it will be interesting to see how the Colts manage on Monday. That said Manziel actually looked really good, and the Jet really struggled against the Browns up until Manziel threw the interception, then he got silly trying to win the game back.

Still Rex vs the Patriots should be a great game, and probably the whole reason Rex wait to the Bills for a chance to do it twice a year

There are other games on at that time so it is not so bad. Especially as it is unlikely Sky will choose the Jets...

More games are coming to PickTV throughout the season, though they haven't specified how many.

Who is this new American woman Sky have picked up on their team alongside Cecil Martin? It seems like someone watched Pam Oliver & said 'we need someone vaguely similar'.

I'm sure a lot of people would prefer if Sky had no team at all and just showed the American stream on Sunday's.

The problem with the American stream is the number of ads that they have, Sky need some kind of filler for some of the ad breaks. Ive used game pass the last 2 seasons but Im going with Sky this year, Im hoping I wont be tearing my hair out too much listening to them.
