Great game, it was tough watching for so long but it was an incredible comeback, I couldnt believe my eyes when Edelman came up with that catch! That one will be talked about for a long time to come. Feels good man, feels good.

I had hopes that without Brady they would collapse, but it was not to be. Will watch a bit later, I just want to see if it is Brock being bad or just a great defence. Bills are already crumbling, so can easily see the Pats at 4-0 before Brady appears with the gimme game agains the Browns. It is just too easy for the Pats.

FYI I called it in September, As for the game........ I never thought the Pats were out of it, and once they started scoring in the 4th I had a horrible feeling they were going to do it. Maybe next year Brady's play will drop off a cliff Manning style.....

But I have zero belief that will happen. So AFC East 2017 season, Jets have no quarterback, and an old team, so will be awful, the Bills are in transition, and may also not have a quarterback. The Dolphins should look to improve on a decent season, but in truth the Patriots have little to worry about in their path to the playoffs. It is just too easy for the Pats.

The SuperBowl on BBC1 averaged 624,000 viewers with a 19.6% share of the audience. This is down from 2016 when it aired on BBC2 and pulled in 780,000. I'm guessing a lot of people thought it was over at half time and went to bed after GaGa.

111.3 million viewers meanwhile watched in America.

Sky Sports 1, 3 and Mix will come next week.

I want to know what the other 80% of TV watchers were doing at 1am.

I'm quite impressed with those figures. Some normal season NFL games draw pathetic numbers.

I imagine there was a Segal movie on ITV4 which couldn't be missed.

12,000 watched the Superbowl Live on Sky Sports Mix, with a further 14,000 watching the Tuesday evening replay.

36,000 watched the 8am replay on Sky Sports 3, and then another 31,000 caught the evening edition. Around 100,000 watched Live on Sky Sports 1.

You're looking at a viewership average across all channels of roughly 800,000, factoring in Live and the following day's replays.

And it had a reach of in excess of 2 million on BBC1 (that's to say at one point or another it was watched by over 2 million people, so claim the NFL).

NFL.com wrote:The NFL is bringing a new meaning to "prime time."

After a run with Twitter in 2016, the league's Thursday night primetime games are moving to Amazon Prime, according to a report from the Wall Street Journal. The site and the league have agreed to partner on a deal for the rights to stream 10 Thursday Night Football games, per the report.

The league keeps pushing the envelope on social platforms (signing a deal with Snapchat before the 2016 season) and in live-streaming select prime time games, moving from Yahoo!'s one-game run with the London contest in 2015, to a 10-game Twitter slate in 2016, and a similar schedule with Amazon in 2017. Twitter's streaming of TNF enabled fans to watch games live on their mobile devices and engage via the social platform.

This time around, users will need to pay to play -- well, watch -- Thursday Night Football via live stream. The games will be available only to Amazon Prime members, which is more than 60 million strong, according to analyst estimates.

This is a big catch for Amazon, which is competing with Netflix and Hulu as a premier source of entertainment content. Amazon's addition of the live-streaming deal builds upon an NFL foundation that began with its excellent, NFL Films-produced All or Nothing documentary series, which follows an NFL team through a season (Arizona in 2015). That series is set to premiere its second season, which follows the Los Angeles Rams during their 2016 campaign.

The 10 TNF matchups will also continue to be broadcast on live television in a package that is split between CBS, NBC and NFL Network.

I take it a lot of Americans don't take advantage of free TV signals and opt for a cable package because otherwise this seems pointless. Why would you pay for Prime if you can watch it on terrestrial.

A lot of Americans are "cutting the cord" and getting rid of traditional tv entirely, going with streaming services only so it makes sense to go down this route. Im a little surprised its an exclusive deal though but the best way to test this way of watching games is with the gooseberry fool show of Thursday Night Football.

In other news Tony Romo is moving to the booth on CBS saving us from the horror that is Phil Simms.

Such a bizzare series of events. Another case of an incredibly talented player who has thrown his life away.

Will he turn the Saints around or will he be a failure in an offense thats not suited to him?

I learned long ago to never bet against AP so Im going with him turning the Saints around and having a big year.

Draft night tomorrow, really odd how it is such a big deal, I mean I don't follow college football so have no idea who anyone is (all I know is I like anyone called Taco Charlton) Added to that you have no real idea who will work out till a year (or two in RGIIIs case) later. Well that's a lie I know for a fact if the Jets draft a QB he will be a bust.

Oh I am calling it earlier this year, pre draft! Patriots to win the SuperBowl again

Yeah I used to get way into the draft but its such a crap shoot I find it hard to see the appeal of watching it live. I usually just check who the Pats drafted every morning and have a look at what kind of player they are but its near impossible to know how they will actually work out. The worst thing about it are the draft grades that follow right after, as if these jackasses can actually predict the future and know how each player will turn out.

So the Bears jumped up to take Mitch Trubisky with the second pick in last nights draft, since then every Bears fan has gone into meltdown and this is the dumbest pick ever. Over the top reactions are the only reason the draft should exist, they make the whole tedious process worthwhile.

So this years Madden has been announced and the only thing anyone ever cares about is who is on the cover, this year its Tom Brady and they are releasing a G.O.A.T. edition. Seriously, this is not a joke. G.O.A.T. Edition.
