They're selling it as you getting every single game live.

They have been for the last couple of years. Some countries do get every game live as they have no TV blackout deal signed, this used to be the case in Ireland but when Sky re did their deal they got the games blacked out. I would be surprised if they have changed this stance but Redzone is not blocked so even if the game you want to see is blacked out youll get to see some of it with Redzone.

Yeah, I noticed in the last section of the terms and conditions it said about some matches mightn't be able to be viewed if they were cancelled, rescheduled, there was an outage with their service, or some broadcasting contract prevented it. Signed up last night anyway, and I can watch blacked-out matches on Sky.

I hope the playoffs and superbowl aren't on the blackout, though. That'd be really shitty.

Getting caught up with the preseason Seahawks games with the excellent condensed format. Marshawn Lynch is clearly missed as a solid option for moving a guaranteed 3 yards forward to get a 1st Down. The really struggled to get points against the Chiefs. But dat ending. Out of nowhere.

Prepare to curse at the shittiness of it then. :slol:

The condensed game highlights are one of the best things about Gamepass, you skip all the stoppages but never miss anything of importance.

For those who play Madden the PS4 version (probably Xbox too) comes with a 15% off code for Gamepass (RRP £139.99 to £118.99).

I wonder if Big Kev will be back on Sky, seemingly having been phased out for someone sexier and marginally more competent.

He was always the worst thing about the sky coverage, seemingly got the job only because he was American and noone else in the company had a clue about the game, about time he was replaced really.

It's really annoying as I liked what I've watched of NFL, but the games are on at like 1am. I have no idea how to go about watching a game afterwards fully, other than just highlights and I ain't paying 140 Bob for it.

The Sunday games start at 6pm, theres only a couple of games each week that kick off after midnight our time. I think sky do a highlights package of their live games later in the week but I dont think they show them in full later in the week. This may change for this season though, especially with Sky Sports Mix being a thing.

CBS News wrote:FedEx Field Most Expensive stadium to watch an NFL Washington Redskins Game at $272.17 (£203.54)

  • Ticket price: $87.33 (£65)
  • Price for a beer: $9 (£6.73)
  • Price for a soft drink: $5 (£3.74)
  • Price for a hot dog: $6 (£4.49)
  • Parking: $57.50 (£43)
Redskins tickets rank among the most expensive franchise season tickets in the NFL. The rest of the $272.17 cost for two comes from hot dogs, soft drinks and beer, which all are on the pricier side. Parking at Redskins games is the second most expensive in the league.

Ouch.

The vast majority of games are on at 6 and 9 on sundays.

I tend to watch Patriots and then tend to be on late as strawberry float. No idea why I watch them, other than they were the first team I watched.

I will get a Sky Sports month pass (which has also increased in price) for the Thanksgiving games as it also coincides with the darts 2 weeks later.

The other Thursday night games are on Twitter. Not sure what you need to watch it on TV though.

Are they worldwide on Twitter? I assumed the deal only covered the US.

I'm not sure actually. I presumed it would be like the London games that are aired on BBC but also accessible through Yahoo.

In addition to RedZone on Sunday, Sky Sports Mix are airing NFL highlights Monday at 8pm and again throughout the week.

I know Seahawks have a habit of 4th quarter wins from behind but it's really not good for my sleep – means I either go to bed angry or must keep checking the coverage until the result is in.

Can't say being pushed to the close by the Dolphins fills me with confidence for the season.
