I love the Casshern type vibe coming from the world. Sparse, dilapidated, haunting looking. Major feels. :wub:

So glad this looks fun to play rather than the original which felt like a placeholder game they forgot to go back to.

Designs are also noteworthy now.

LOS ANGELES (Aug. 17, 2016) -- NieR: Automata™, the upcoming action-RPG from SQUARE ENIX® and PlatinumGames Inc, will launch on STEAM® for PC as well as the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system in early 2017. The highly anticipated follow up to the 2010 cult-classic NIER®, NieR: Automata tells the story of androids 2B, 9S and A2 and their battle to reclaim a machine-driven dystopia overrun by powerful weapons known as machine lifeforms.

It was pretty good. It had some flaws, but definitely had more good than bad points. Soundtrack was immense too.

Not much new footage, but some of the character designs look cool. The robot holding the flower. :wub:

Hopefully we'll see more footage from the TGS.

No doubt they have a good, videogamey reason as to why the character can have the swords float like that, fact is though, it looks rubbish, especially when seeing it close up and side on.

Didn't expect a demo so early. Special Edition looks lovely too. I wonder how much it'll be.

If you mean black box edition (the one with the statue), it can be pre-orderd for £170 on SE website. (Link is in the EG article^)

As for Xbox One, Saito wasn’t able to outright confirm a port for Microsoft’s console, but he did say that it’s not out of the question. How successful the PC and PS4 versions end up being, will influence this decision, according to Saito.
