Jeans and a t-shirt, or jeans and a shirt with blazer/jumper over.

In the clubs I go to, a shirt and tie is trying far too hard.

Shirt, Jeans, smart shoes.

Because nothing else is allowed in most places here in Edinburgh.

Some times there's no need to dress up like that, but I don't always feel right if I haven't made an effort.

If it's some place like 42s or 5th Chav in Manc or The Warehouse in Preston, then it's jeans, tee and trainers. They're too packed to tart up for, things only get soaked in other people's drink.

This, and

this, too.
Too many t-shirt wearers.

But I like wearing t-shirts and jeans. Why should I change just because I'm going to a club? I want to look how I want to look.

Am stuck in a limbo between t shirt and shirt. I just dont know which one to go for usually! Although now I am starting to make up some ground rules.

Tomorrow work night out with geeks then flat party. Thats got t-shirt/polo written all over it.

Saturday night mates 21st, goin for meal then out to clubs. Thats gettin posher treatment with my brand new shirt with cardigan and jeans.

Footwear currently I use cheap brown trainers that definitely need cleaning.

Annoyingly I often buy clothes and never wear them because I get second thoughts as am getting ready for a night out.

My mates are all different. The gym buff wears tight plane t shirts with woolly hat. Another lad just wear cool shirts with band names like Muse on them. Quite a few do the shirt / shirt with jumper or cardi. I used to always do casual t-shirt/polo shirt. Everyone wears jeans.

Putting clothes on is like a minefield.

Jeans, trainers and usually a rugby shirt (not the team based t-shirts, the sweatshirts.)

Shirt with long-sleeve over top, jeans, brogues.

I remember a time when you HAD to have a shirt and at least shoes on to get into a club. And forget about jeans! How the dress standards of society have fallen in recent times. MAybe the government need to introduce a dress code law of dress for ladies, suits for men.

I just wear what I've been wearing during the day, but then again, hanging around street corners doesn't really require smart clothes.

Levi Jeans, Lacoste polo or Fred Perry polo, with the buttons done up, and modern looking brogues, pointy but not 'slice of pizza' pointy. Never skinny jeans. If it's cold, Lyle and Scott V neck.

BOSH.

I just wear the same as what i wear during the day. None of the places in my Uni town are strict on dresscode, so i'm usually just in a t shirt, jeans, runners and a zip-up hoody.I find shoes uncomfortable and a shirt seems like i'm making too much effort so i don't really see the point in wearing them when they're not necessary.
