The star fox demo showed at the end was blurred out but there are pictures of the actual demo on the internet. I'm pretty sure Nintendo announced it officially after the direct mainly because the demo pictures had been leaked earlier that day.

On the Internet. We are on the Internet. Please share

"It should be common sense to just accept the message Nintendo are sending out through their actions."

I actually think Devils Third looks quite good. That might be because I haven't played many games like it.

Yeah, I have quiet hopes for Devil's Third. I'm not usually into the hack 'n slash genre but this title is attracting me because it looks fresh and completely crazy.

It does look violent but in an outrageous, comedic way. I like the look of the mixture comprising slashing, brawling and shooting. There are some decent single and multi-player modes; apparently the Gamepad will be used to share information in the mult-player mode. You can setup clans in various USA cities and take on some of the clothing styles of those areas.

If that doesn't grab you, the lead character even takes time out to have a smoke or take a swig during combat!

This game could surprise a few people as development progresses. If you haven't already done so, I'd recommend viewing this Gamespot interview with Itagaki.

Possibly I'm being unfair, but It looks like the kind of game that, had it been released last gen on the 360, would have been selling for about £15 inside a week, joining luminaries like all those third person action games I've forgotten the name of because they sank into obscurity so fast.

On the Wii U, it might have more of a shelf-life just because there's so little competition, and it's good to see some variety in the games coming out on the system, but it's going to take more than slightly-ropey looking action and sub-par movie tropes to turn the game into something interesting.
