Whilst the game has just launched on both 3DS and XBO in the USA, a release date has yet to be announced for these fomats in Europe, D_C.

The 3D version of Streets of Rage 2 is really nice. I wasn't expecting much from the 3D effect but it does work surprisingly well. I got Sonic as well and that suffers from a tiny bit of flickering in the Marble Hill Zone for some reason and the level select cheat doesn't seem to work properly. It brings up the level select screen but goes straight to Green Hill.Zone which is odd.

Still a million times better than the Sonic Boom demo. strawberry float that game.

Bloody hell, bear. GET OVER IT! Man, for how long are you gonna go on about it? You played a few minutes of a demo and you didn't enjoy it. Fair enough. You've since made it clear that you didn't enjoy it. Righty-ho. Every time you post we see your opinion courtesy of your signature banner. Okay, we get the picture.

Well, there is now a danger that nine months of sharing your view about a demo - even on subjects that are nothing to do with the game - is getting rather dull. It's time to move on.

It is but unfortunately they don't have a date set yet for regions outside the US.

It's a Nicalis game, so expect it in Europe around 2038.

Have Sega many more of the 3Dified Megadrive games planned? I've seen mention of Sonic 2 and Gunstar Heroes so I'm hoping there'll be plenty more. Sadly Micro Machines 96 wasn't a Sega game. Those helicopter levels in 3D.

Any idea when we'll see gunstar heroes?

Dragon Quest XI announced for 3DS and PS4. I'd have been happy if it was 3DS, happy if it was was PS4... but not sure about them trying to put the same game on two very different machines line that. Probably won't be able to fully appreciate the 3DS game knowing there's a home console version, while the home console version would surely be drastically limited by the game also needing to appear on 3DS. Of course it probably won't matter as they don't seem interested in bringing the RPGs over here anymore.

Doesn't look or sound like either version will be gimped by the other. 3DS version looks ace, the retro graphics on the bottom screen is genius.

PS4 version looked very early in development, so much so that I wonder if that one was planned from the start as it was clear that the 3DS version is much further along.

EDIT: they just announced XI will be out on the NX as well.

Okay, after seeing the footage of both I take back the concerns about them negatively impacting eachother.

This kit looks pretty much essential for fans of the 3DS hit game "Yo-Kai Watch".

Behold the McDonalds chips holder; ideal for keeping a warm bag of chips on your leg:

3D Out Run is so good. Bliss to play.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

There seems to be a new hack that enables region free gaming and homebrew. I'm still reading up on it but you can have a look at it yourself as well.
