That's a shame about Clash of Heroes, it is genuinely great

Yeah, it reviewed great and I liked the setup of the game... but unfortunately the colours meant that I just couldn't quickly distinguish different characters and it was impossible for me to play.

I often have difficulty with puzzle games because of this. One of the very few that I can play is the superb Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords on DS. The colours and symbols are okay for my vision and, importantly, there is no time limit for goes - so I can contrast and compare at my leisure. I was amazed that the game was ported to Switch and I bought it on that format, too :-).

Hacked my 3DS last night after the news of the eShop shutting down. Slightly involved process but there's a step by step guide out there. Besides the obvious playing backups there's a Mario 64 port that runs in 3D that seems to be the coolest thing I've seen so far.

You can even FTP files on so you don't need to keep unscrewing the back cover of the New 3DS XL to yank the SD card out (which I wish I learned before one of the screws snapped off).

If you've got an hour or two to kill it's worth doing, not like they can ban you from a service they're shutting down.

I did it to my 2DS, which is now super filled with GBA games that I have either downloaded as 3DS files or turned into 3ds files its a lot of fun.

Very confused as to why Capcom doesn't run its insanely generous US eShop sale over here.

Playing around with my Hacked 2DS something annoying installed a SNES emulator and it emulates 95% of stuff perfectly really, so why did we need to by a New 3DS to play SNES games again???

Seems Nintendo have done one last run of select 3DS physical games, you can grab the likes of Majora’s Mask and Dragon Quest 8 now for £33 from Base

Today I got a 3DS with no cartridge slot for £10... The shop originally wanted £40 till I informed them there was no cart slot, its just a hole and proved it to them then they said I could have it for £10 if it would be any use , it will be very useful now its hacked.

Normally that damage would be quite a drawback but it seems that it's ideal for your hacking setup, dude!

I was just thrilled it cut the price by £30's really , sure a working cart slot would have been better but not £30 better :)

Yep, at ten quid and looking at what you plan to do with it, the console was a great pick-up!

Would appear I don't own and have never played Kirby Triple Deluxe. Might need to grab that off the Japanese eShop before it disappears because it'll likely be impossible to import now.

Got SNES, NES, Megadrive, PC Engine games and a whole bunch of 3DS games on my £10 3DS now, suppose I should call it my £14.25 3DS as that accounts for the £4.25 I spent on the 32gig SD Card, picked up two all purposes screen protectors for 50Pence (Ok the £14.75 3DS now) there ones you can cut to any shape so going to cut them to the machines screens , just need a stylus that will fit in it and a case now, I have plenty of plastic DS Stylus's to use just not one that will fit in and stay in the machine.

Amazon is selling brand-new copies of Kirby Triple Deluxe for £15.99. Worth a go?
