I glued it on before as it came off, but it's completely strawberry floated now. Anyone know if they do replacements for this thing or is there any cheap hacks for getting more grip on the thumbstick? It's playable, just slightly slippy.

Something like this replacement should do the trick, Squinty!

Edit: I'm not sure how easy it is to fit; the casing may need to be opened.
Edit: If you do have to open up the 3DS, a screwdriver like this one is listed as good for the job.

Thanks very much!

On holiday? I wonder if an arcade visit could be involved, kerr? :-).

I should say that I have not replaced a thumb stick cover nor opened up a 3DS myself, dude; but it seems like it'd work!

Returning to 3DS lead to me digging out all my DS/3DS games to see what I had, thought I would share a collection pic seeing as they are out now

I like checking out folks' game collections; nice one, Milner! I struggled slightly to get past you mixing up your DS and 3DS cases ( ;) ) but you've got lots of great titles there, man.

Just a check - does your Luigi Mansion 2 cover have the "glow in the dark" markings on it? Mine does and it has slightly warped the paper and case plastic.

Also, does your Steel Diver have a lenticular cover? The effect is really smart!

Yeah I was in two minds if I should split them out as DS and then 3DS

Yep, got both the LM2 glowing cover and the lenticular Steel Diver one, the same thing has happened to my LM2 cover and it looks all crinkled. I also have the extra cover/box they had for Ocarina of Time 3D

Shouldn't The Legend of Zelda be in the T section or have I been doing it wrong all these years?

True, I always tend to ignore ‘The’ in titles when storing them on a shelf. I might be the minority in that tho

Alphabetical order but mixed up between consoles, Milner is committing very specific crimes!

They're not even the same size boxes :(

(cool collection tho)

I would also separate US from PAL if you want to know the correct way of organising your plastic videogame boxes!

The little game icons and that don't line up either as the sleeves are all misaligned in the cases!

It's a good job Milner owns Aliens: Infestation, Ever Oasis and Ghost Trick, making him immune from criticism

1 ps5 game won't mess up your ps4 display though

Great collection

The Official Game Storage Rules guidance state that "The" should be ignored and thus Milner is absolutely spot-on by going with L (Legend).

True facts.

Oh, and most of you guys probably know this, but Australian 3DS cases are a wee bit slimmer than those used in UK and Europe. I have one - a Fire Emblem game that I forget the name of (the remake one) - and I transferred it to a standard UK case as I couldn't handle the slimmer version. The paper cover spine is slightly smaller in width but it doesn't really notice.

Finally... as we are talking 3DS Zelda, why not take another look at my Zelda Ocarina collection where I delve into the different versions of the cases and artwork for the 3DS version? Amazingly dull or quite interesting... take your pick!

Beautiful stuff Jawa.

How have you never even got to being an adult in that game when you've had it since 98?!
