...must admit, I prefer Saga and Partners. I liked the Bowser segments, but found the overworld non-memorable and the 2D segments (if you know what I mean) plain bobbins.

Mine’s probably not the majority opinion though!

I’ve never played the series before now but I have heard Bowsers Inside Story is the best of the bunch. I think it’s due out the first quarter of 2019

Some people prefer Superstar Saga. But nah for me, BIS is the best. I keep meaning to replay it.

I like what I've played of Superstar Saga so far, is it worth picking up Partners in Time?

If Superstar Saga is a 9/10, Partners in Time is very much a 7/10 - the plot and writing are not as engaging, and the Baby Bros segments are really lacking. The closest the series has been to the initial standard was Bowser's Inside Story.

If you decide to go ahead with either sequel, I'd advise giving it a few weeks gap before you start the next, just to keep it fresh.

BIS was great, probably one of the funniest games I've played too. Bowser is amazing in it.

Yeah, once I’ve finished with Superstar Saga I’ll move on to something else and probably wait until next year before I play another.

I’ll pick up PiT soon

As a kid I really enjoyed Superstar Saga. Must have played through it a few times. But when I played Partners in Time (when it was released I think) I found it pretty jarring because it's a lot more linear. Saga had this big map to explore with areas opening up when you got new abilities or with story developments, but from what I remember of Partners it pretty much goes from one disconnected level to another. Didn't like that.

I think I still liked it - not as much as Saga but yeah, don't go into it expecting more of the same kind of thing really. Apart from the battle system I guess but I can't remember how different it was with the babies involved.

Dream Team Bros was just disappointing for me. I haven't got around to one after that.

Was just looking on Amazon, what about Dream Team Bros and Paper Jam? Are they both worth getting?

Dream Team Bros is so cheap now, I would say get it, and see if you like it.

It didn't really cut it for me, I hated a lot of the motion control stuff in it. I haven't played Paper Jam, I need to get it.

question, I want to transfer my data from my old New 3DS to the New 2DS xl I am now using.

When I do the transfer, is it just a simple case of it takes my account and all the games I have on my New 3DS to the New 2DS xl and then i just need to pop the memory card from the New 3DS into the New 2DS xl?

Random update:
I finished WarioWare and Sushi Striker a while back. Both are pretty awesome. Loved the new voice acting in Warioware. Sushi Striker was a touch anti-climatic, and I've still got a massive area of the map that I don't know how to unlock.
Just ordered Yo-kai Watch 2: Fleshy Souls from The Game Collection, because it was only £15. Looking forward to that, and Yo-kai Watch 3 when it comes out here!!

Is anywhere doing the first Yo-Kai watch cheap? I feel like giving the series a try.
Or is it better to jump in at 2 with QoL improvements and such? I imagine it's somewhat like Pokemon where each game is standalone and is basically a 'first' game.

Under £17 on Amazon, I am sure the 3DS eshop has a demo of the first game if you just want to try it out?

The Game Collection has most of them for £13.95 (https://www.thegamecollection.net/yo-kai-watch-3ds/?sqr=Yo-kai&#sqr:(q[Yo-kai%20watch])). And, yeah, the eShop has a demo for both 1 and 2. I'd recommend giving them a go.

Edit: That is the correct URL. Don't know why it isn't hyperlinked.

I’m still chipping away at Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga (the remake) at the moment, it’s really good fun, can’t believe I have never tried this series before. I’m on the part where you need to collect the 4 pieces of Beanstar so I think i’m Getting close to the end now.

Luigi’s Mansion is out this month as well, anyone picking it up? I’ve got it on order so i’ll be playing that over Halloween weekend

Yeah I want to get Luigi Mansion too, my guess it's going to be my only 3DS purchase for some time.
