Gecko, it is Virtue's Last Reward; the second title in the Zero Escape series, following Nine Hours Nine Persons Nine Doors.

Ah yes I saw that while browsing, funny how Japanese titles don't necessarily use 2, 3, 4 ad nauseum.

The weird thing is that the European versions of Virtue's Last Reward stripped out the localisation from the US versions.
I had to import the physical American Vita version, even though I got the EU Vita version free on PS Plus.

So er, 80's Overdrive has been very quietly released. Any impressions?

It looks neat, Tineash... very OutRun. I’m gonna be holding off until I’ve read / watched several opinions, though.

Looking to get my daughter a Pokémon game for Christmas. She hasn't had one for a few years and a little while back I thought Moon or Sun was the latest but now see there is an "Ultra Sun" and "Ultra Moon". What is the difference between "Ultra" and non Ultra and which should I buy?

Confused, Essex.

Expanded storyline and a bunch of the old legendary pokemon. Refinements etc.

Eurogamer called it definitive, but you can get the old game for £20 second hand.

I think you were waiting for reviews on this, Tineash? Nintendo Life appear to have enjoyed it quite a lot; good fun with the only frustration being some overly-challenging AI.

I can see people really going for the "Pikachu trapped in a tiny plastic pencil case look". I hope the back features his tail and feet all squashed together.

Thanks Jawa, think I'll get this. I can't see it selling much at all on the 3DS so I hope they've got a Switch port in the works, poor bastards.

There is a rumour that the New Nintendo 3DS XL console is soon gonna be dropped by Nintendo across the UK and Europe. This would mean that the Nintendo 2DS and New Nintendo 2DS XL would be the only consoles available in the 3DS family... and so bring to an end support for the key 3D feature!

I can't imagine that there will be many major 3DS / 2DS games arriving next year. It feels like the 2DS consoles will become "cheap" gaming options targeting younger players whilst the Switch will see the bulk of focus and development from Nintendo. I wondered if a cheaper, dock-less version of the Switch could arrive for the summer?

Personally I'd want another new handheld from Nintendo, I dunno feels weird to see no successor to last handheld from them but I guess times are changing.

Unless they plan to make some kind of thing that like new handheld that can connect to switch when it's docked as "second" screen while having its own games.

Either way, I'll have to wait and see what Nintendo will do in 2018...

Would anyone like a code for Metroid II? I got the special edition Samus Returns for christmas, but I already have M2 on my 3DS.
