Nothing wrong with them sticking sicking with franchises that have been consistently good over the years and are proven million sellers. Have to question you including COD and Assassin's Creed on that list when you only need to look at the amount of games belonging to those franchises that have come out over the years. A new COD and Assassin's Creed game pretty much every year for the past five or six years. While it doesn't "piss me off", double standards like these annoy me.

We've never seen a full featured AAA version of those games in portable form before, which is the difference I think.

And we've seen nothing whatsoever of them yet other than a logo.

I think looking about the console franchises we have seen crossing from 360/PS3 to Vita (Fifa 12, VT4, Rayman, BlazBlue and UMvC3) we can expect those other games to be that. I think its understood that these games have to be the equivalents of their home console versions.

Snake can only see in 2D. It's a rare condition

I found that bizarre too. Good demo, it's a great game but I can't justify getting it on 3DS when I have the HD PS3 version.

Finally completely done Mario 3D Land. 29 hours exactly, 340 gold coins collected, 1030 lives left, 5 stars on save file and every level gold flagged with both Bros.

That Special 8 Crown level was a bit of a pain. Lost count of times I fell off as the lanky L but with Mario I gold flagged it first time.

I reall don't think Kid Icarus looks any good.

Played the Snake Eater demo, took a while to get into but it's really good not sure if I'll buy it or not. A good price might tempt me though.

it looks pretty frantic imo, lots of gooseberry fool happening, should be fun.

I'm with Herbi on this one, Kid Icarus looks shite.

Should have made it more like an adventure game than some Spce Harrier-like shite.

Would have been awesome if they had made it more like the 3D Metroid games set in a sort of Greek mythology setting.

Really? Thats what you think of?

Not Panzer Dragoon or Rez or even Sin & Punishment. Nope have to go back and say its like Space Harrier.

Personally I think that part of the game probably looks better than the ground based part. In fact any time a game like this has done ground based combat too, thats been the gooseberry fool part.

Apparently when you get used to the controls that bit is actually quite good now (they've been working on it long enough), but I'm sure a game based purely on the flying shooter bits would have been better.

Yeah, I think it's a terribly missed opportunity.

I don't get any Sin & Punishment vibe from this (I didn't like that very much anyway..), and comparing it to Rez is just insulting (to Rez, I mean).

It looks chaotic, and not in a good way. Art direction is poor as well, IMO.
