Well done on the OP, pretty special.

All of my Xmas/birthday money is going to a 3DS at launch.

That's an excellent and fact filled post.

I know an awful lot more about this now than I did before. Good job TAP.

After some of the slightly negative comments that have been flying around of late concerning region locking and battery life, reading some of the stuff that's going to be included has brought my anticipation and excitement levels right back up again

Brilliant thread. So much effort, hat goes of to you! I'm really excited for the console but not at all about the launch titles. Can't wait for some Mario Kart, Kid Icarus and Paper Mario

Amazing effort gone into that OP. That must be the best single source of info. on the 3ds on the interweb ! Impressive.

Another 3DS has been stolen and this one has been taken apart! The 3DS is one tightly packed little machine. Nintendo must be livid, to go from being almost never leaking to having the original 3DS announcement leak, and then two production models early. The Ninjas must be getting old.



We might get some technical information soon, although I wouldn't take any of the numbers for fact as Nintendo might have under clocked it for performance reasons.

Yoshinori Ono, the producer of Street Fighter, has confirmed on Twitter that he'll be at the Euro Conference. I wonder if they're planning to split the staff between the two events.

Is it easy to replace batteries like the PSP or is it a screw job?

It's most likely going to be a screw job, although you'd have to be rubbish at DIY to consider removing a small screw to be worth a considering that's how you get at the batteries in most things, even in children's stuff that only uses AA.
