I just rooted out my old one I got on ebay a while back and was disgusted to find that I only got Majora's Mask and DK64 for it. If you can link to a price that would be marvelous but if possible keep it below £10.

If you like platformers, check out Rocket: Robot on Wheels. It's genuinely one of my favourite N64 games. A great little game, full of originality, likeable characters, humour, and some really clever bits. A joy to play.

Limewire? I haven't used that in years. There's enough websites out there which do ROMs for most systems.

Check out my YouTube channel!
One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

Well put.

Still does, 12 years after. For some reasons the sequels did not succeed at that feel. I blame the higher framerates.

Windmills do not work that way!

Now we're not with Future anymore, or anyone really, I suppose we wouldn't get in trouble for posting emulators and ROMs in here.

For me one of the best N64 games is Shadowman. I know it was availiable on other consoles but the nintendo version allegedly has better controls. It's got the best story of any game I have played. Such a brilliant idea for a game, the levels have great atmosphere. The platforming & fighting elements can't hold a candle to the best competitors but they are perfectly acceptable and mildly enjoyable. It's all about the story and exploration, similar in a way to Metroid Prime.

If it has one flaw, its that it requires a memory pak and I'm dubious any of those will still work nowadays. Avoid the sequel, it feels like it was made by an entirely different team

Yes, we can. Although there is nothing in the rules against PMing such things to people.

Dunno about that, there are many gaming forums that look down upon this activity. Not just those that belong to magazine publishers.

In my opinion , The Nintendo 64 was , and still is one of the best game consoles out there. I have spent more hours of enjoyment playing on the nintendo 64 then i have playing on the xbox 360. It offers a wide range of games that even compared to the likes of gears of war 2 and fallout 3 , are still better. It was the benchmark for all gaming consoles to come! , I voted for Ocarina of time because its just still the best RPG out there

Nah, I completed the game a few years ago though. Very long it was too, but if I remember rightly it stayed good right to the end. That was one of the problems with Okami, after 50 hours it just got to much.

The N64 has one big problem in that the build quality of the analogue sticks is gooseberry fool. That and the very slow framerate (compared to Gamecube onwards) limit its appeal as a console to dig out from the loft and play

I liked that with some N64 games made the game and money spent on it worthwhile getting that amount of play on a simple game Zelda OOT, Turok 2 Mario64 all had over 50 hrs of gameplay something i find lacking in most games nowadays

Yup, was the last quality over quantity console for me.

Few games, but very few stinkers for the time. If only I could say the same for Wii/DS :(

Sounds like a case of rose-tinted spectacles to me. Check out the ROM list at romhustler.com. It is 99% shite.

Is Hybrid Heaven worth getting and playing for the first time now or is it crap by today's standards?

The N64 was awesome. The arguments I can/do have over what is better... Goldeneye or Perfect Dark? (Goldeneye btw).

I'd still rather play Goldeneye over many of the modern day FPS's such as Halo.
