I can't remember who said it, it might've been Reggie or Miyamoto, but one of the Nintendo bigwigs did say some time ago that Wiimaking it could be quite tricky due to the speeds the game sees you going at, and motion controls might be tough to implement in such a frantic, high speed environment.

If they've overcome those concerns, well, huzzah.

Hopefully with Motion+ they can make the controls more accurate and responsive. Or they could use the Nunchuck analogue stick for steering, and the remote for firing weapons or something.

Just got word that Nintendo's conference is only to last 60 minutes.

They're either leaving out the pie charts or the games.

An hour long doesn't bode to well

Based on everything that's been said I think the conference will be full of guff none of us care about, it's afterwards with these seperate continent announcements that the real beef will be revealed.

I really want a gooseberry fool hot conference though :(

30 Minutes of Mario Galaxy 2 and 30 minutes of Wii Zelda should be more than enough for everyone :o

I think people are underestimating how much can be shown in an hour. Sure, that Wii Music end to last year's conference might've FELT like an excruciatingly long time, but it must have only been about five or six minutes real time.

For some weird reason, I'm having serious doubts about Pikmin showing up now. Nintendo has to cover Wii Sports Resort, Moving Memo, Wii No Ma, new Mario game, Zelda: Spirit Tracks and Wii Fit Plus, and that's before we take into consideration any third-party stuff it has lined up. And the pie charts, of course. Always with the pie charts.

Still, exciting times.

With two formats to announce stuff for, sales twaddle and hopefully plenty on Wiiware and DSiware 60 minute really isn't that long a conference.

And the 10 minutes of Cammie felt like the entire history of the universe in dog years.

We know a surprising amount about what Nintendo are likely to show this year, especially compared to last year.

Nailed-on:

Wii Sports Resort
Pokemon GS remakes + Wii game
Zelda Spirit Tracks
Sin and Punishment
Metroid Prime Trilogy

Strongly rumoured:

Pikmin
Something from Retro
Wii Fit Plus
Mario or Zelda.

'Batter an eyelid'?

I think Nintendo will use a lot of the phrase 'RIGHT NOW' tomorrow.

Stealth launch of WSR NEXT WEEK.

I knew selling the standalone Motion+ unit a month ahead of the game was just an elaborate ruse.
