Mario and Sonic and the Olympic Winter Games, maybe?

Disappointing if that's all.

That's already been announced.

I had forgotten about that. Even if it is Sega-published (in the west) I assume that it will be there.

So, in terms of already (tentatively) announced stuff:

- Monster Hunter 3
- Dragon Quest IX
- Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers
- Wii Sports Resort
- Zelda: Spirit Tracks
- Sin and Punishment 2
- Pokemon Gold and Silver + Wii Pokemon game
- Mario and Sonic
- New Pikmin
- New Kirby
- Wii Fit +

Still, plenty of room for at least a few new titles. Especially regarding DSi.

Then I guess there's probably at least one title Nintendo considers a "major sales driver" that has not yet been announced, and will be shown at E3. Sales drivers for them seem to be Wii Fit/Sports etc, so let's not kid ourselves into thinking it'll be something aimed at us (or maybe they think Pikmin 3 will appeal to all of us and be a big seller?).

I don't even care anymore. I'm going to miss the conference anyway.

It's probably for the best.

Lets not forget the gazillion retro games still not on the VC. A Sonic 3&K, Soleil, Zillion, FFVI, Ogre Battle, Elite, Mega CD games and Micro Machines 96 announcement would be fine.

What I'd like from Nintendo for the Wii, in order:

-A massive Starfox game in the style of Lylat Wars, replete with myriad different paths and planets and scenarios.
-Luigi's Mansion 2. Definitely.
-A proper Mario RPG for the Wii. I wouldn't want it to necessarily be like Paper Mario in style, either.
-F-Zero, though perhaps for the DS.
-A realistic and gritty steampunk Zelda for the Wii. (I thought the brown of Twilight Princess could work with this.)
-Wave Race (Though I think this may have been ruled out all together.)
-Mario Galaxy 2 would be nice, though I'm willing to give Nintendo considerable time to think of something stellar.
-Mario Party 9 (Honestly--I'd love it to be as well-made as Mario Party 2. Great music and atmosphere.)
-A new Retro Studios game. If it's Starfox, all the better.

What I'd like announced for a Nintendo system:

-Golden Sun 3
-Resident Evil 2 Remake

I don't think many of those top-end games are going to be announced any time soon, though. I hate to say it, but these are the sorts of games that I've been looking for from Nintendo, above Smash Bros or Metroid. I go away feeling upset when they aren't forthcoming. And, truth be told, I'll be upset if I don't see at least a couple of them at E3. I miss the days when E3 blowouts really felt like...blowouts.

That said, though--I don't want them if they aren't made with care and attention. If they're going to come at all, I'd rather play them when they're well-tuned.

A new F-Zero would be fine. A DS or Wii version would make me very happy.

I had completely forgotten about Layton.

Rumblings on Gaf suggest an August release in the US.

I predict Nintendo's show to have somewhat like this:

Wii
Wii Sports Resort
Wii Fit Plus
Pikmin 3
Sin And Punishment 2
Metroid Prime Trilogy
Big New Game For Christmas/Early Next Year Which Showcases WM+ (edit: f-zero please!)

DS
Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver
Zelda: Spirit Tracks
Another Game With DSi Exclusive Features (edit: 2D metroid please!)
Made In Ore

Also a couple semi-interesting WiiWare/DSiWare games.
The funny thing is that whatever Nintendo delivers, the "core" will still complain.

How about some sort of official charging solution for the Wii-remote. Damn thing just eats batteries.

I would re-buy a Wii just for a new F-Zero game.

I want, Very very much want. Probably not with wheel controls, and if they are there to make them optional.
For all people who are saying F-Zero will skip a generation, I see no reason why it would, it could sell quite well, hasn't missed a generation yet and has never been bad (unlike StarFox, which needs to be either dumped or drastically changed).

Back to the point, I'm pretty sure F-Zero Wii will happen at some point, its a matter of when. Make it happen this E3, Nintendo.

I do use rechargable batteries. The Wii just seems to go through batteries way quicker than my 360 controllers drain their battery packs. Meh, this looks a decent buy to me as long as it works with Motion Plus.
