I used this link daily to check stock around the web: http://www.stockinformer.co.uk/checker- ... ent-system

Managed to secure one from Nintendo last week and it's been posted today :toot:

Might come in handy for people.

Anyone know if the unofficial extra controllers are any good? They're considerably cheaper on Amazon than the official Nintendo one (£7-10 compared to £36).

I'd suggest picking up an official Wii Classic Controller unless you're bothered about the NES styling. It has the same connector, works perfectly with the NES Mini and even adds the option of being able to press the home button on it to return to the main menu. You can pick them up on eBay for £10-15 too.

Super, I will grab one of those then (if I ever get my hands on the console!)

I don't think anyone in here has payed over the RRP for one.

No way.

I've just counted, and over 50 new NES Mini's were listed on eBay today...

Basically what's happening is that eBay shops are buying up all the stock, and putting them straight on to eBay. That's the only way to explain how this thing sells out within seconds, and then on the day deliveries go out, loads appear on eBay. It's a huge mark-up for them...

Of course, it is all Nintendo's fault for not making enough.

Mine turned up today, can't say anything new just to echo how small it is in person and what a quality product it is. Please Nintendo make a SNES version, my Mum & Dad would kill for one with Tetris & Dr. Mario on it.

Congratulations :toot:

Welcome to Club NES Mini! I got mine yesterday :-)

It's a great little system. Great interface, cool games, and good fun. Plus everything loads up instantly.

As I said before, it's good news that Nintendo is re-stocking these, and increases the likelihood of a SNES one. Now that would be amazing.

I'd love to get a mini SNES to sit alongside the NES, but really deep down my nostalgia child craves a Mini MegaDrive2

They do but they're notoriously ropey.

Got my hands on the Mini at lunch, picked it up from Tesco. Brought it back to the office and managed to have a huddle of 28-38 year olds oohing and aahing at my desk

Can't wait to get home
