I had a quick look at the Mario Maker website last night and it still seems to be working. As expected the comments on levels aren't there anymore, but it still seems to retain it's functionality, which is good news for next time I do AYAMM.

It's coming..... at some point. I'd actually toyed with bringing it back round about now, but with Miiverse dying and Mario Odyssey being out I felt it was best to give it some time.

Probably in the new year at some point once I've had time to think about what format it would take and how to run it.

It was incredible before, Cheeky, and I’m sure that folk will be excited about a new competition!

I just fired up Mario Kart Wii U, and tournaments work fine! :D

The only thing you can't do is create a new one.

Hang on - so this means Mario Kart Monday Wii U was killed off prematurely...

...I figured this might be the case. It was a conspiracy by the Switch lot forcing through Mondays for their MK Tournament! :x ;)

I actually was going to ask whether this still worked.

:o ... . So... our Monday tournament is still up and running at 21:00?

The trouble we'll have is that we won't be able to amend it when the clocks change.

It all makes sense, he sees balance in everything, doesn't side with a particular side often, clearly he is a spy sent by the Switchinati to stop us!

Nintendo doesn’t appear to have been too clear about how the Miiverse closure has impacted game functionality. I’m sure that wasn’t intentional... :shifty: .

Our Switch Kart Monday sessions have been resounding successes so far, though :toot: .

The console's main screen sucks now. My girlfriend is genuinely sad about it.

Wrong! It was nice seeing people chatting gooseberry fool and drawing memes every day, and the occasional bizarre comment or familiarising a bit of French.
