Zelda looks alright actually but they really have to sort that HUD out. It's atrocious!

That wiimote can't be on screen at all times... maybe it's just there for the training levels?

I thought it might just've been there for the E3 demo.

I hope it is, anyway.

Makes sense really as all you're trying to do is teach people to play the game in the quickest time possible.

Wow, some fantastic games were announced then. I rather like the looks of the new Zelda games graphics, and Goldeneye is a very nice surprise aswell. I also wasn't expecting them to release a new Star Fox game any time soon. I'm gutted that i missed the conference to be honest.

Even better i'd say, Lylat Wars was a fantastic game during the N64 years.

I wonder if Nintendo will pull a Smash Bros. Brawl and show off Pikmin 3 the next day. I'd be utterly baffled if they still had more to show.

I certainly hope so. Seems they've tried hard to minimise the amount of controls needed so after a while you're definitely not going to need the on screen guide.

Given how much past Zeldas have changed from the first trailer to finished product, I'm guessing the HUD and everything will look quite different.

There's a Miyamoto roundtable thing at 3am, so there may be a few more surprises at that.

Nintendo Studios must be working at full capacity they have announced soo many games for wii and especially DS/3DS its insane

A while back Sony was said to have the largest 1st party development Nintendo can't be far behind with this kind of output.

I'm amazed that nothing about any of those games were leaked.

The key thing that impressed me about Ninty's conference was the scheduling. Opening with Zelda was a brave step, but who honestly thought that it would be released this year? To then follow it up with a barrage of old favourites, almost all destined to hit before or just in time for Christmas, really helped to get over the knowledge that we wouldn't be seeing Zelda for a while yet. That some were completely unheard was also a lovely little addition, a new Kirby in time for Christmas is pure magic.

But of course, ya gotta close big, and the 3DS was the best way. Announce a shitload of huge franchises making their appearances on the system, let the people in the audience try it out. Annoyance that it likely won't be available until 2011 is diminished by the knowledge that there are plenty core franchises getting big releases this year and that the planned games for the system are pretty much fanboy wet dreams. You honestly couldn't ask for a better conference, and it was less than 90 minutes long.

Can you imagine if the 3DS had been kept secret until today, would have been chaos.
