You get these silver vouchers when you special things in the game (one example was using the boost ball to knock robots over like bowling pins) and you can trade them for Friend credits (you get them by giving vouchers to people on your friends list), using the friend credits you can unlock bonus content such as artwork and silly things like bobble heads and bumper stickers for your spaceship.
