Pretty disappointing for me, certainly nothing to make me get a Switch before Christmas.
MK8 looks amazing, but still have the U version. I'll certainly pick it up when I get the console.
Arms looks like it might be fun for an afternoon, but can't say I was particularly impressed.
Splatoon looked nice enough, but haven't got around to the first yet, so can't get excited for it either.
Rayman etc. looked fine, even if it is stretching the meaning of 'definitive', but already have the game on other consoles. I might double dip around the £10 mark, but won't be getting it at full price.

3DS wise, plenty of titles, but most of them look like filler just to keep the system ticking over
Pikmin looked nice, but I'd much rather have had it on the Switch by this point and it's going to die at retail
Very disappointed to see a Fire Emblem Echoes season pass, and, with Fates still unplayed, might skip this one and wait for the Switch FE next year*. Very little of the game shown too, which was concerning.
Stuff like Yo-kai arriving far too late now, which will undoubtedly hurt future entries coming over

Loads of amiibo stuff too, which I don't care about either

Still, no mention of the VC, online service, Mario, etc. so bound to be plenty (with hopefully some big surprises) at E3.

* Will almost certainly end up getting it but then not playing it

Did they show off that cool "Mech" game on the English stream which is like a tile flipping battle arena online multiplayer game? That looked awesome.

Project Mekaku? Yep
(looked like a 2D Bomberman-style game, so curious to see how it turns out)

You could be right, and the game might be excellent, but, no matter how much Nintendo stresses the level of tactical depth and complexity involved, whenever I see it I just think it's going to be very similar to my experience of Punch-Out: highly entertaining for a few hours, but then I'm done with it. Could be premature, as I don't know what type of game modes are included, but my impression hasn't changed since the initial reveal.

Edit-
Had a quick check on NintendoLife and it's called Project Mekuru

They're also showing off the true power of HD rumble :datass:

Disappointed they never discussed any of the single player ARMS content still

Like the look of the new monopoly game

At this point why bother with the first?

But we had Federation For-ha ha haaaaa ;_;

The multiple Kirby games do look neat all the same, I just wish at least one was hitting the Switch.

Takaki the god. I literally screamed of excitement when he appeared on stream last night.

Surprised they actually plan on releasing Devilish Brain Training in Europe.

Why? Does it sell that little compared to the first or something?

More that it was released in Japan about 4 years ago.

The joycons do charge from the Switch in handheld mode, but only if they are low. They stop charging once they get to 50% (so that they don't leech too much from the Switch).
