Nintendo Direct 13/09/17 | Full Conference P.1

Other than new games, a port of Tropical Freeze and some VC news would be welcome.

Rumour has it that Smash Bros could get revealed... Super Smash Bros Deluxe, maybe? This wouldn't float my boat as I've never got into Smash, but I know that many gamers adore the series.

Smash is massively overrated by the way. I'd never played one before and picked the Wii U version up. So strawberry floating confusing with all the gooseberry fool going on screen to the point where I constantly lose where my character is. I just found it really annoying in general and seemingly random in if I'd do an amazing hit off screen or just regular hit.

I'm excited by the rumours! Platinum re-masters, another Bethesda game, Chronicles 2 release date, Skyrim release date, fresh new titles... I hope they turn out to be true!

I think this rumour is coming from Youtube's algorithm linking the Direct video to the Smash Bros Wii U trailer. Which is clutching at straws really.

Super Smash Bros. Switch, which has a tag team mode added to it.

Played that in the Southsea Arcade it was awful.

We had fun with it (for the 2 minutes our single credits lasted). Sucking up ghosts is very tactile and I enjoyed hoovering objects all over the place for coins.

Not expecting any big new game announcements as the Direct is all about games coming THIS year.

Virtual Console would be a nice surprise though.

Alongside games, I'm hoping that we get news on system software updates...
