It was Killer Instinct!

Killer Instincts sound track was great (I also remember the Killer cuts cd) , I will say though, that the game does NOT hold up well. Have original KI 1&2 as part of Rare Replay on Gamepass and they are pretty naff. The newer KI though is decent to be fair, recently updated to 4K, also on GP but they really should release that on everything too as the online code is apparently very stable now.

Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance yessssssszz! Won't be buying on switch though as the original really struggles on the switch and it's such a pretty game that it deserves to be 4k and 60fps.

Nothing else jumped out. Killer Instinct and Blastcorps were both amazing back when I played them at launch. I was obsessed with both and even 100% Blastcorps and was able to do Orchid max combo in KI. I played KI on Xbox years ago and it's aged very poorly. But he new KI game is amazing. Not sure how well Blastcorps will have aged.

Wish my image sig would work

...out today, too, Spin! You gonna be getting into the saddle? I recall it being around on the 3DS.

I played the 3DS demo but didn't buy it and then the 3DS eShop closed  so I am very happy it's now on Switch :toot:

Hopefully Nintendo Pocket Football Club is next in the "3DS sports games with card mechanics" revival.

Hey, the first two games being ported gives me hope. After all, those two PSP games would need a lot more work than the console games. And considering this collection is meant as a 20th anniversary celebration of Battlefront, it made sense to keep it to the games most people recognise. The Squadron games can easily follow in a year or two as a fully remastered/remade collection. Would be the closest thing we'd get to Pandemic's Battlefront 3 were that to happen.

Might pick up Pocket Card Jockey. There's some other games that looked really cool and the new Endless Ocean looked pretty fun.

Looking forward to the eventual online update for Suica game, definitely going to play that a lot with my partner.

I respect the optimism, but I don't share it

The PS blog even leads with

Aspyr is proud to announce, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the beloved Star Wars Battlefront series, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 will soon be able to play the classic Star Wars Battlefront games online and offline in a complete collection.

and I can't help but be annoyed at that use of "complete"!

Subject to reviews:-

Goo (yay!), Endless Ocean, Moomin Valley and possibly Pentiment and Monkey Ball.

That's a hell of a way to see the Switch out.

(Plus Metroid4 obviously :shifty: )

All seemed either very average or stuff I'd rather get on the steam deck at this point.

Is it easy enough to get access to other regions' NSO offerings? I guess you need to get a sub for that region (and maybe a credit card).

I have a sealed boxed copy of Mother 3 for the GBA and can read Japanese so would be able to get through it, but I've never played it. I don't know what the purpose of this sentence is, apart from making people hate me.

Yeah, the use of complete is annoying. But as I say, most people would only recognise the Pandemic games, so from that 'certain point of view', it is a complete collection.

I guess we'll have to see what Aspyr's next Star Wars project will be after this releases. But honestly, I don't even want Aspyr going near it. Rebellion is still around. Let them handle bringing their Battlefront games to new systems.

You don't need a sub to download and use the other countries NSO titles, just make an account in the region, download the store apps then login with your normal account.
