I just read that Nintendo only have 4 WiiU games on the showfloor at E3. :| Starfox, Mario Maker, Yoshi and Mario Tennis.

No Xenoblade, Fatal Frame or Devil's Third. What the strawberry float is that gooseberry fool about? Why not show off these titles? It's not like they have a huge breadth of things to show. Guess we won't be hearing opinions of the latter two for a while, then.

I can't see these studios wanting to work with Nintendo again if this is how the games are being treated, nice of Nintendo to fund Devil's Third and help get it out but I can't see any of the developers being happy about the lack of promotion.

I'm no Animal Crossing fan but this board game

These games are nothing more than placeholders.

Yeah, this looks absolutely terrible. I don't understand the point of it. There are no minigames or anything. You just walk around the board and have conversations with people you meet. :?

Maybe they scrapped the Wii U AC and have moved it to NX? This is just them using some of the assets. It looks woeful. Although the Tarot cards are great. Thank god that's over.

Nintendo have really nailed the emptyness of space in this Starfox demo

I hope the levels are this barren just because it's a public demo. If the final game is this empty... :dread:

It looks so strawberry floating dumb to me when the lasers are coming out of the sides/above/below the guns themselves

EDIT: It's going to sound like the audio is coming out of your ears :dread:

It really looks like a lot of it is almost placeholder. Like its all been built quickly to test the mechanics and design. I wouldn't be surprised to see it delayed. It was just a tech demo last year and I was shocked when Miyamoto said it would be out before Zelda (pre delay). Personally I'm liking the new ideas. The ship transforming and the gyro controls. Its got potential. But I'm worried it wont fulfill it.

I for one am excited about it. Loved Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, and I'm glad this is looking much better than last one on 3DS already.

Reminds me more of WipeOut than F-Zero personally.

You know what was really stupid? That Smash direct. Imagine if they had announced TRoy and Ryu as part of the conference, that would have been miles better (albeit they would have to have avoided the leak) - but instead they shoot themselves in the foot and show it early. Bizarre. Imagine how hype it would have been if we saw Reggie playing as Ryu for the first time, that would have been unbelievable.

I really don't think these E3 directs are working out for Nintendo. I have a feeling that if Nintendo didn't show a video of Zelda last year we would have felt similarly then.
