That was it. :|

Well, that was really disappointing. I wasn't expecting much, as I have little interest in Starfox, Xenoblade or Animal Crossing, but so much of what they showed had already been demoed extensively or looked poor.

Yoshi's Woolly World looks amazing, but I was always getting that anyway
I still don't like the in-game style for Fire Emblem, and, even though I'm sure the game will be great, 2016 is disappointing
SMTxFE looked so Japanese, and still a long way-off
Paper Mario and Luigi looked nice enough I suppose
Mario Maker still looks the business

It looked really fun in the last video. I'm cautiously optimistic about it.

I'm looking forward to a few titles on the list. Super Mario Maker is something that I'm enthusiastic about. I always wanted to make Mario levels.

E3 sucked ass but hey, things aren't so bad for the rest of the year.

I may just wait until the console ends and pick up the dozen of so titles left at cheap prices - xenoblade looks great, but i couldn't really get into the first and am not too keen on its combat system either.

What disappointed me the most was the support for the 3ds - i expected bigger and better titles.

This has to be one of the dullest Nintendo E3 conferences I can remember. The lack of AAA games to me signifies the Wii-U is done and that Nintendo are moving development to their next console. I can see Zelda switching to the new console and it looks like they are holding back on the next main Mario title too.

I thought it was hyperbole when people said Star Fox didn't look great, but it looks really quite dated.

After how good Mario Kart 8 was I had hoped for a new F-Zero with proper online play, but yet again it looks like the franchise is missing a console generation.

I would have been happy if they announced a couple of HD remasters of GC games to bolster the Wii U schedule.

I kinda hope Starfox gets bumped to 2016 so Platinum can work on it longer. No online modes is a daft decision in my mind, online dogfights would have been great fun

I guess it's hard to have a dogfight in an on-rails game.

It was just disappointing. I'll probably buy and enjoy a lot of stuff they showed off, but it was either stuff we'd seen a lot of before, with the new announcements all multiplayer/party stuff.

Didn't Nintendo say earlier in the year that they have big plans for Mario's 30th anniversary?!

I hope the instruction book with Mario Maker isn't the extent of their plans...

That was... Poor...

I like the look of Star Fox though, but there wasn't anything major or stand-out this year at all... More surprising that they didn't do anything for Project Zero, or Treasure or even Devil's Third...

Totally disappointing a company in transition even if they aren't saying so, Starfox looks half arsed and worse than the 3DS port of 64, levels look sparse and no multi-player, what?!

Yoshi's Wooly World, Mario Maker & Paper Mario 3DS interest me but they aren't earth shattering. The lack of information was astounding, NX was like the elephant in the room. What are Retro, Next Level, Intelligent Systems, Camelot doing?

Treehouse presentation was appalling, the total gushing over Miyamoto nearly made me vomit, it was hardly worth his airfare.

Sony killed E3 this year, Nintendo wouldn't even make 4th this year!

I think Nintendo has massively misunderstood the point of E3 here.

It's not about showing off games that are out in a few weeks or months - it's about getting people (and especially the fans) excited about the future, about what you've got planned for the next few years. Just look at the reaction Shenmue III got, and that's not even started development.

The uncertainty created by Nintendo's spectacularly awful digital event has damaged the company - I've already read articles in the mainstream press (in Germany) recounting the horror of the presentation.

I've worked for a major Japanese company before, and there seems to be a cultural stubbornness to change, even when they know that they've adopted the wrong course.

If I wa a major Nintendo shareholder, and I just witnessed the negativity which Nintendo's digital event has created on a global scale, I would demand the immediate resignation of those responsible - Iwata and Reggie. I mean, they even showed clips with Japanese dialogue, and offered no translation. It was pathetic.

Nintendo e3 conferences/directs have had a trend over the last few yearsfrom going from mnehhh to good to NINTENDO WINS E3. don't think it worked for them this year.

The presentation was very weak. But this seems to be going a bit over the top.

It's pretty obvious that they've abandoned the Wii U ship and moving on, claims that the Wii U will still be relevant when going forward seems like gooseberry fool
I thought E3 was a sly slap on the face for the the userbase that bought the console with Nintendo not even be arsed to sell it

Nintendo had a bad day at the office, with unclear messages and poor demonstrations.

But let's not get too carried away here. Over the past weeks we were enjoying the latest Mario Kart DLC, going mad with Splatoon, having fun with Rainbow Paintbrush and antcipating Yoshi's launch next week.

It was a very weak show yesterday but not a lot has changed. The U remains a relatively niche machine with a pretty strong catalogue and a few gems.

Nintendo is not dead but a transition is taking place. Like any other company, they take some good steps and make a few bad moves. From a U perspective, let's see how stuff like Starfox Zero, Mario Tennis and Xenoblade Chronicles turn out. I'd be surprised if they're duffers by the time they're released.

You can tell they are holding stuff back for NX though, the way they ended the digital event was awful
