Cheers for that. I just think this is incredibly brilliant. True blue sky thinking. Iwata would have been proud!

I'm unsure. It all looks really cool, creative and fun... but maybe only for a few goes? I feel the software has to be exceptional to justify eighty dollars for that robot set and I suspect that the cardboard isn't going to be that robust.

Yeah the cardboard is £60 and you have to buy the software to use it separately.

Yeah, I doubt that the software will be available separately and it would be quite a task to replicate all of the "bits" that you get in the sets.

Yeah, I can see why they’ve gone for cardboard from an environmental perspective, but none of these things are going to last, surely? It doesn’t even look like it’s fancy coated cardboard, just your standard amazon box corrugated stuff...

Also, it’ll still take up just as much room as a plastic peripheral would, because no-one’s going to dare to try and dismantle it for fear of ripping a tab off

I guarantee it won't be long before there are numerous 3D prints etc. available for replacement parts.

I'm not sure about that... the Nintendo site says that, for both main packs, the software is included.
