No, that was the point. I've got enough GC games to be getting on with in my limited gaming time. I am thinking about getting a game but I'm not crazy about paying £40-50.

One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

I'm going to rob Drumstick of his Switch. Clearly doesn't deserve it.

Can't comment on VR but plays just fine on switch so far!

Can't comment on Switch, but can comment on PSVR...its very good in VR.

It's a good game anyway, but VR definitely adds to it.

Just the hori hard case:

(The flap has space for holding some games)

Planning on getting an extra pair of joycons at some point, but not in any rush. I play handheld exclusively and take the switch with my on my commute every day. The case does fine and I've no need of a screen protector even with me taking the switch in and out of the dock multiple times a day.

KjGarly wrote:I use this tempered glass protector. You get 2 and so easy to put on without air bubbles appearing. I use the official carry case with mine along with rubber grips that sit on the joycons while in handheld mode making it more comfortable to hold and fits in the case no problem with them on.

Thanks for the info, the official case does seem to be a safe choice so I'll probably just go with that!

The screen protector is mainly for the kids, they struggle to look after things quite as well as I'd like at this stage so a bit of protection is required!

LA Noire is releasing on Switch in November :o .

L.A. Noire for the Nintendo Switch features the complete original game and all additional downloadable content, with specific enhancements including a Joy-Con mode with gyroscopic, gesture-based controls, HD rumble and new wide and over-the-shoulder camera angles, plus contextual touch screen controls for portable detective work.

It's also being released for PS4 and XBO.

I guess this is a good thing, although I believe the original game was a little divisive.

Well that came out of strawberry floating nowhere! The original was a great tech demo for facial scanning but not a great game.

Fantastic presentation. Pretty good but flawed gameplay. An overarching story that was both gooseberry fool and too invasive to many of the cases. SUDDEN ANGRY SHOUTING

Yeah, I bought it super cheap and still regretted it. It's the most Ludonarrative dissonance I've ever experienced with the open-world drive-between-missions design. One moment I'm investigating a murder in a super serious narrative-driven adventure game style, next I'm driving down the pavement mowing down pedestrians. I have no idea why the open world part exists at all (and yes I know you can make your AI partner drive for you - but then why have that at all? I don't play games to simulate a commute - let alone /not/ play a commute).

Hard pass from me

I love the era so I did enjoy the open world but I have to agree that it was largely pointless. If this is realised for a reasonable price I will pick it up.

Surely you need to test it in case it is a DOA

Great to see they're making full use of Switch's capabilities and play modes, hope other games follow this path.

I'd probably triple dip on LA Noire (360, PC and the Switch version)

Just what a mediocre and empty ps3 game needs, waggle and strawberry floating touch screen gooseberry fool.
