I have only ever taken my joy-con off the console about twice. Never used 'em to play a game in that mode, either. I did like the "click" sound, though :) .

Never had an issue putting on the grip or the shoulder bumper things, I can see how you might do it but its labelled well enough that I never considered it being such an issue for so many.

I did it the first time I tried using the straps and I've never tried using them since. I didn't think it was a problem with using the non-matching one, but in how they slide on anyway?

Pretty sure I had + to + and - to - but one of them still got jammed

The easiest way to remember is to always slide it on from the top down. As long as you're pushing it onto the side with the L or R buttons, it will be the right way round, whichever joy-con.

Benefit of hindsight, I guess.

Looks like Funky Kong makes Tropical Freeze really easy. Finally another game for Jawa! :toot:

I'm more used to Dark Souls II and Bloodborne nowdays. Gone hardcore gamer :datass: .

I'm holding off from Tropical. I've watched a couple of vids and, bar the Funky Kong aspect, it really is a straight port of the U version. I'd like to try out the Funky bit but no way am I dropping forty or fifty quid on it.

Is there any other way?
I still managed to put one on wrong when sliding down from the top when I first did it. The + and - didn't stand out enough on the black thing until it was too late.

There's only two ways it can slide on, from the top down, or upside down from the bottom.

I have a little more trouble knowing which way up the right joy-con is without looking carefully, as the infra-red camera kinda looks like a button. Is that the one you put it on wrong, by any chance?

Bottom up. Pretty sure that's what I must have done wrong.

Rocket League has had a permanent price reduction in the eShop.

From £15.04 to £15.00.

Dat saving :datass: .

That's... more than I was expecting...
Really, what's the point of a discount that small? Just to keep the number exact?

Agree with this, IMO this should been released as either

1.) DKC:R Collection and included a HD remaster of Retro’s first DKC game

2.) Cost £25-30 max

I will pick it up eventually but as it is I’ll be skipping it

I’m still on the fence on Hyrule Warriors as well but as I never played it it makes me feel a bit better about purchasing it

I'd guess it's more to do with the fact they can now advertise a permanently lower price, sounds good to new customers that way.

I don’t think TF hit anywhere near its sales potential.

This is Nintendo’s way of recouping the sales it could/should have got.

I think they see it as a release for a new audience rather than a port for people to double dip on.

I do agree they’re overpricing and a bundle with DKCR would have been much more pro consumer though.
