Just when I was starting to think "it's been a while since I played my Switch"

Did Football Manager just take over from Championship Manager? Not rushing to buy it but might give it a go when it goes on offer.

Yeah FM is the CM folk. Can't remember what happened exactly but they lost the rights to the CM name or something like that.

Yeah, when Sports Interactive switched publisher from Eidos to Sega, they had to leave their Championship Manager name behind and changed the branding to Football Manager.

Decent, will give it a go when it goes on sale as I won't be putting the hours in to justify £30 on it. Also I've not played one in years!

My playtime of previous Football Managers according to Steam:

FM09 - 1,302 hours
FM11 - 1,023 hours
FM12 - 1,194 hours
FM14 - 1,404 hours
FM17 - 532 hours (and counting)

And that’s all on my laptop, god knows what numbers I’d reach if I was playing this at lunch every day at work

I'd fear for the safety of my Switch when playing handheld mode. FM is the worst for bullshit AI.

I'm still enjoying Disgaea 5 Complete on Switch; I rarely play games of that type but it is fun and highly polished... albeit quite complex, too .
