I think the Wii U and 3DS will be supported through to the end of 2017; on a "customer support" basis rather than via Nintendo-published software. I feel that the vast majority of Nintendo resources (financial and manpower) will be directed at the Switch.

Answer the question.

Well I would if I can play Zelda or Mario on my high end tablet... Oh wait.

You literally can though

And goose, you're the only person on the forum that thinks destiny PvP is good.

Ah sorry i guess i shouldn't include Seb and Dinoric plus the thousands that play it for fun everywhere else in the world. Look it's ok to be crap at something. Just be honest with yourself, there is no harm in it

However, that's not to say it couldn't contain additional storage capacity. It would allow them to sell bigger capacity docks, without needing to replace the entire unit.
It would also mean you could store most of, if not all of, your digital library on that, transferring things you want to take with you onto whatever internal storage the handheld unit has.

Yeah. All sounds sensible. Plus SD cards for the tablet bit perhaps.

If there's anything I'll remain sceptical about until launch day it's how Nintendo will handle storage with this.

SD cards are beginning to become capable of much larger memory storage, if they can get them down to good prices then the storage problem will fix itself.

And goose, not that it matters but I have a much higher kd than you. I don't dislike it because I'm bad, i dislike it because the meta is awful.

I'm at work, waiting to go home and play Civ 6 and I've just seen the new Nintendo console. I can't think.

There was talk about 64 and 128GB flash cards doing the rounds which is plenty of space for the latest games. If it has a decent write speed, perhaps patches and DLC could be added to the game card itself. With the faster load times it would certainly be better than a HDD, although publishers would be annoyed if a game + all DLC was resold a pre-owned prices.

*rambles incoherently*

There were reports that Nvidia offered Nintendo a really good deal as Nvidia weren't in the console market to any real degree. It'll be interesting to see just how much the console will be, it certainly looks high-end.

Its hard to tell in those kinds of videos, but like I said it looks all a bit plastic for my taste. Don't think I'd call it high end.

This is more high end...

Of course, we have yet to hear about how Nintendo will apply Digital Rights Management... carts tied to consoles, maybe?

They're launching this at a funny time, PS4 and Xbox One are hitting their strides and are available at around the £200 mark now. I think Nintendo have to be aggressive with pricing, even if it means taking a loss on hardware. My guess would be £199 with some sort of pack-in game that shows off the local multiplayer and portability.

Oh no, that isn't the case.

So many questions I need answers to, I hope we don't have to wait too long to find out more information. I'm still really excited. I can't help thinking of the potential. I want Bravely Third on Switch. I want Xenoblade, I want Bayonetta. So much hype it's unreal. I've been saving for it too, and I very nearly blew it on an Xbox One S, despite intending to buy Scorpio next year.
