I'm actually pretty psyched for Tropical Freeze and Mario Tennis

Having played all the ports on Wii U and hating TWEWY, there wasnt much in that Direct for me, I may pick up Hyrule Warriors again if the new content is significant enough and I have had an eye on Ys for a bit so thats a bit of good news. Im not sold on Mario Tennis, especially after the disaster that is the Wii U game either. Dragon Quest Builder Demo was the only thing I said I would definitely get.

Im not too pushed though, I have Xenobalde on the way to me and I still havent had my fill of Odyssey so Ill be plenty busy with Switch goodness for a while yet.

I recently found out I had Oath on Steam

In 2017 I got to play Origins *and* VIII It really was the best year of gaming.

They chose some great games to port. I have never played most of these games so I’m pumped.

Oath is terrific, probably has my favourite soundtrack in the series

Great for me as I never really played much of those remakes and Dark Souls is leaving me with a dilemma, but as Skyrim as proved, its just so much nicer to play on the go!

I do hope Mario Tennis has some real substance, but feel they need to move away from the comic shooting as seen in the nintendo direct clip.

I know it's mostly ports but next to stuff like BotW, Odyssey and Xenoblade for the vast marity that is three AAA games to sink into for potentially hundreds of hours, surprises like Doom, I'm going to be spoilt when I eventually pick one up which goes without saying, don't buy a console early, this way you can't possibly be disappointed at any point. I've looked at picking up TWEWY a number of times since noticing the art style in 2007 so that's nice to see, it's pretty hard to bear a DS game these days as they're blocky as hell, I mean worse than PlayStation.

I guess this means no one is working on a new DK though. Or if they are, it's a long way away.

Don't really know what that first game is but if OR is excite then Glad DKC:TF is getting ported for people that missed it. Its amazing. Sadly adding a baby mode character isn't enough to make me want to buy it again. The 3DS port of Returns had new stages which was something to look forward to. Was a bit surprised to see Mario Tennis already but actually the comments on the Wii U suggested it was a sound game but lacking in content and bizarre online choices. A story mode sounds........... ace. If it plays as well and I can play online with my chums here then HYPE. As for Dark Souls......... strawberry floating Dark Souls. Could be tempted in terms of just what the remaster is. Have they removed any of the areas with lava in? That would make it better. Does it run at 60fps without falling through the floor when using ladders? Can skeletons still jump all the way up stairs? Are the hitboxes in anyway logical to whats happening? Its these kind of questions I need answers to.

Dont know what Ys really is but Jazzem likes it. Mind I suspect he climaxed when he saw the Pokken stuff.

Not that it matters as by the time I have a Switch the world will have ended.

With DKC TF I would have liked to see them bundle in a HD version of DKC returns as well.....maybe that will come later?
