Arms looks like a mini game filler, not a top class exclusive!

I'm only buying one console this year* - either the Switch or the Scorpio. You'd think this would be a slam dunk for the Switch given I've already got a PS4 Pro but with only two games I care about coming out in the next 10 months (Zelda and Mario) I can't really see it being the Switch unless they at least announce big things at E3 this year for 2018.

My current preorder will be getting sold on.

*I may well end up with both a Switch and a Scorpio.

Wouldn't be surprised if they do a port of Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite.

I hope that we get some unique 3rd party exclusive, not direct ports of PS4/XBO games. Give me sequels to Super Monkey Ball and Zak and Wiki!

So does Gran Turismo, if you only look at one car and one track.

Not sure what that even means, its a 1 on 1 fighting game not a 'mini game filler'.

As for how 'top class' its going to be, that's not something that can be determined until the game has been released.

I certainly hope so - as long as they don't cut any features from the main releases!

I wouldn't mind some more resi remakes, such as 2 and 3, or any other series, as long as they play to the switch's strengths, as opposed to being cut-down ports from the other consoles...

New content is great too, but if it's going to be a case of delux versions released on the competition six months down the line, I'd almost rather they didn't bother.

Unless Nintendo are going to fund the work, what incentive do 3rd parties have to put in extra effort for the Switch when that same investment on other platforms will reap bigger rewards? You'll get minimal effort ports and be grateful.

Yes?

They made exclusive games for 3DS added in extra features to Resi Revelations and Street Fighter IV that weren't in the other versions on other formats, as well as exclusive games that didn't appear on other formats like Monster Hunter which is one of their biggest IPs, one of the most popular games in Japan behind Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest, and one of the biggest system sellers in Japan. Given Capcom's previous relationship with Nintendo, there's a very high chance the next mainline Monster Hunter will be exclusive again too, which will be huge.

Cheers Maf, pre-ordered that now.

Pretty chuffed with the prices so far, i picked up zelda for 48, 1-2 switch for 32 and mario kart in April for 40. Seems i'm not paying the high end 60 quid that so many went crazy about.

Should Zelda be £46 with your prime discount?

People moaning about the initial prices of the game were either idiots if they didn't think they were going to drop, or just moaning for the sake of moaning. Exact same thing happened with the PS4 and Xbox One launches as well.

should have been but i ended up ordering from argos with the switch as at the time argos was cheaper and i had the order guaranteed plus i wanted the Neon switch as well instead of the grey one which was all i could get .
