Had a decent look about, is a Switch with a big hitter like Zelda or MK8 for about £320-£330 as good as you are getting? Is one set of Joy Cons fine for playing MK8 with the good lady or would I benefit from having another set? Pro Controller worth it?

I got by playing Mario Kart with the joycons yesterday and they work great, but having used the pro controller today I find it more comfortable due to its shape and larger buttons.

Onto Thumper level 4. My head is now melting!

Thumper is properly excellent, got it when it was 25% off. As long as there are regular deals like that I can easily see myself filling the Switch up with indie games.

I haven't been paying attention to indie games much over the last few years, what's worth getting on Switch?

Axiom Verge
Stardew Valley
Golf Story
Binding of Isaac

Switch has to be my go to console for indie games. I have Golf Story, Thumper, Stardew Valley and Ocean Horn at present.

SteamWorld Dig 2 is excellent too.

Steam world dig 2 is Metroidvania and is lovely. The music is exceptional and the feel of it is just right. Axiom Verge is actually just Metroid from a parallel universe.

Throwing some more indie games out there:

Kamiko
Kingdom: New Lands
Yono and the Celestial Elephants

It isn't indie but it kind of feels indie: I Am Setsuna is a decent game.

Anyone tried The Flame in the Flood? Thoughts? Tempted...

I thought I'd hate the joy cons at first but have grown to really like them. I played on my PC for the first time since getting my switch about a month back and the 360 controller felt so chunky and clunky in comparison!

It didn't take too long to adapt back to it but it was surprising just how used to the joy cons I had become!

I believe the dock is the brick and yes, it comes with a plug.

It comes with a USB 3 power supply which plugs either into the dock, or directly into the bottom of the console itself.
