Is the code actually visible on the photo? No doubt someone's trying to have a laugh at conning people out of money, especially if it's gone back up after being sold.

Yeah there's a pic taken of the download card. Bit gooseberry fool if he's conning folk though as he's got a couple of hundred feedbacks with only 2 being negatives. Soon to be 3.

Unless he's just using one picture of a card as an example, but then if he's put another up then he should know that another has been paid for and seen all those messages. Hopefully the problem will be sorted out in some form, and hopefully you can play the game you've paid for.

An hour in and it seems cool.

My god script writing and voice acting in videogames suck though.

Playing Celeste on the Pro Controller for a six hour session on Saturday has left me with a mild cramp in my right fingers. Am I holding too tightly or has anyone else experienced similar?

I think playing a game as demanding as Celeste on any controller for 6 hours would give you cramp.

I thought that there would be a Switch kit because I have the Xbox kit, I really like the switch kit and it’s now my home kit for my FUT team

Image

I didn’t expect the keepers kit to be so good, they have got the Switch joy con colours on the sleeves and socks!

Some advice if my fellow Switch owners would be so kind:

My Joy-cons are faulty and Amazon have sent me a replacement Switch. I really don't want to send back my console body as I can't be bothered transferring my saves, and I have a screen protector on it. Now, will Amazon know if I just swap the Joy-cons of the new console with mine and send that back? I asked them if I could do this, and they said no, but will they actually notice/mind? I realise the console has a serial number but for some reason I don't expect Amazon to track it/care to that level of detail.

No I have not got Bayonetta 2, I might get it because I know a lot of people like it so it must be good, I have never played Bayonetta 1 or 2

Couldn't agree more with this:-

http://metro.co.uk/2018/02/20/fe-review ... d-7326315/

Been playing it through and very disappointed. Not finished it yet but 6/10 seems right to me. I'd avoid. It's not as gorgeous a world as it likes to think it is and even that masks some very sloppy, shallow gameplay.

Ah! I spotted that you were playing Fe, still, and I'd wondered what you'd thought about it! It's a shame as EA rarely seems to stray into publishing new IP very often nowdays and I suspect the weak reception for this will turn them away from making many other experiments. I like the idea of smaller games like this appearing under the EA name but they need to have the necessary quality to make an impact.

Apparantly they’ve patched in motion/gyro controls to Doom!

I was planning a second play through on a harder difficulty soon so looking forward to trying the new control method.

RockPaperShotgun strawberry floating loved it

https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2018/02/16/fe-review/

And indeed it’s a game about relationships. The way you bond with creatures, gain trust, find symbiotic advantages, is completely compelling. That the absence of combat feels like no absence at all is also testament to just how superbly complete it all feels, how rewarding is its exploration.

That’s all escalated further by the music. Haunting and perfect cello, viola and violin create a joyous score, shifting tone and pace depending upon the environment and circumstances. It’s quite the thing to walk between two cliffs, and see the world around you almost imperceptibly shift from hues of blue and purple to pink and yellow, while the music soars about you.

This is Fe throughout, a truly beautiful game, uplifting, gorgeous and alive.

Big caveat here is that the review was handled by John Walker, or Contrary John to his friends. Walker is an odd one. I love his writing, it's expressive and imaginative without being verbose, but his opinions on games are almost always completely off in one way or another. He strawberry floating hated INSIDE for example* something I didn't think was possible. From what I've seen from other reviews, his opinion of Fe is once again against the grain .

Truly he is the Jim Sterling of RPS.

The animations were incredible, but the game was badly strung together, woefully misunderstood what made Limbo clever (suggesting they didn’t get their own game), genuinely vile at times, and just so achingly dumb with the stupidest ending to any game ever.

Sometimes, a 6 is worse than a 2

Finally downloading Bayo 1 now. If anyone else bought a code off eBay etc or is planning to I noticed it still knocks the £15 off Bayo 2 on the eShop even if you didn't buy the 1st game off there. Bayo 1 codes have been selling for £16-£18 last I checked so you could get both games for around £40 if you want digital only. Wish I had known that before buying the 2nd game off eBay last night :fp:

Just swap the joycons. They won't bother checking.
