You can get a replacement shell for the middle bit too, looks pretty good.

The screen protector looks gooseberry fool though, that would bug the hell out of me.

It is indeed Blossom Tales. It's a zelda-like that draws heavily from LTTP and LA, and it's good! I completed it in 5+ hours according to my Switch (so anywhere between 5 and 10 hours), and I enjoyed it. There are four dungeons which are actually pretty good. It's a combat-heavy take on Zelda, with a lot more enemies on screen than you'd typically expect in a Zelda game, so it does have its own identity. It also has a fun Princess Bride-like narrative where the whole story is framed as a story being told by a Grandad to his grandkids. There are a few inventive ways this is used to affect the flow of the game which is cool.

The art style is a bit hit-and-miss, but it does look better in motion as there is a lot of animation there.

As Still mentioned, Night in the Woods is headed to Switch on 01/02, very much looking forward to finally giving it a go!

Celeste is also due out next week I think, some great indies coming up on Switch

:o . Hmmn... "kids". A "new interactive experience". It's certainly intriguing and I will tune in at 10!

Looks like the same screen protector I have (which I bought after my dock started to scratch the screen). The angle in that shot isn't great but it's for all intents and purposes invisible on mine.

It's in the morning Japan time and that takes priority.

Miiverse successor? Doesn't fit the name "New play" though.

Maybe the Cat Mario show is branching out into Let's plays

Heard some perhaps jokey suggestions of a ROB 2.0 which would be cool.

I've not seen anyone mention this here before, but what's to stop the Joycon connectors on the side of the Switch being replaced by something else? So you could slide the Switch into this toy Robot, which you can then interact with in some interesting ways. It would fit with the "specially crafted for kids and those who are kids at heart" description.

It won't be, but there are a lot of cool things they could do for these kinds of interactive experiences that just aren't possible on anything else.

I'm tuning in just to sate my appetite as I have absolutely no idea what it could be but that Ubisoft leak suggested something big. What the hell could it be??

There was an image that someone made last year that showed possible controller attachments such as a fishing rod for a fishing game etc.. would be a cool idea.

Some rumours seem to suggest this might be some AR related thing and the accessory would be some sort of camera device.

This one?

Yeah that's definitely a possibility. I think a camera attachment is more likely, though I would love a wee robot thing. :D
