Opinion: Lumines is kind of gooseberry fool.

Just checked out Hyper Light Drifter. Interesting.... The music however is fantastic! Found the whole album on Youtube and it's now bookmarked. One of the better video-game soundtracks I've heard.

I've just seen that Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 3 has been released on Steam... and now I really want the trilogy on Switch.

Also seem to be thinking every game (or indie at least) would be better on Switch, exciting times.

They've just released a list of the top 10 best selling indies too:
SteamWorld Dig 2
Stardew Valley
Kamiko
Celeste
Fast RMX
Overcooked: Special Edition
Golf Story
Enter The Gungeon
NBA Playgrounds
Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove

Celeste sold more on Switch than it did on any other platform, so it seems a lot of people agree with you there!

Due to the fact I'm getting old and my twitch reflexes are shot to pieces then I'm not interested in hardcore platformers so that wiped out a good chunk of the games shown. But there was some stuff that really floated my boat. Pode looks like something I'd like to play co-op with the kids, West of Loathing looked interesting but the highlight for me was Bad North. I immediately thought of Powermonger when seeing that trailer and that can't be a bad thing. Also tempted to wait for a Banner Saga trilogy physical release if we're getting one.

EDIT: I mean, if this doesn't make you wistful for Powermonger then I don't know what will.

Another edit:

Thanks for the heads-up I'll certainly keep a beady eye on this :D .

Mario Tennis Aces available to pre-order from Amazon for £49.99. I am sad.

Check out my YouTube channel!
One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

Wouldn't take that as the definite price by any means, Amazon pre-order prices can drop even up to the week before release.

Still yet to buy a new game for this, I'm not really interested in any of the indie titles and the full-fat games are just too damn pricey. I'm just not going to spend north of £30 on a game anymore, those days are gone like a fart in the wind.

Expect to wait a hell of a long time to be picking up 1st party Nintendo titles then.

I have BotW and Odyssey, I can hunker down with them for quite some time. My PS4 services my other gaming needs at the minute so I've managed to strike a happy balance for the time being.

Indeed it is. The guy also did the soundtrack to Fez (which I've not played or heard) and the film It Follows (which is excellent).

Started playing Lichtspeer tonight, it’s more fun that I thought it was going to be. It’s pretty tough but has the ‘one more go’ factor that keeps you going

The Fez soundtrack was really good.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

This is the first time I've ever got into (proper) rougelikes

Do we know when the Spring sale goes live on the eShop? I've got a few things I'm itching to pick up but don't want to do it now if they're going to get discounted soon!

Wonderful - didn't realise it was on a strictly weekly basis!

Not long to wait then. :D
