I'd like to get Bayonetta 1+2 digitally on switch. What's the cheapest way of achieving this?

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

So that then once the code is used on the eShop it lowers the price of the 2nd game to £25 so saves about £6 from buying both through the eShop.

Got Bayonetta 2 for my Switch at the weekend and even though I've already completed it on Wii U, I'm having a blast and still finding new secrets.

I have bought this for the Switch however the irony is that now the best console version is back compat on X1. Had this on Wii U but doesn't play that well. On the Switch 2x games this good is a no brainer

Lazy question #65468 - is there a way to turn off friend notifications when playing on my Switch?

I mean, I like you guys and all, but I don't care what you're playing or that you're online, so stop popping up on my screen and ruining my immersion when I'm playing Zelda on the toilet :x

I bought Golf Story while it was on sale last week. I have very little interest in golf and the only golf game I've played for any length of time is Wii Sports. This is really good! It's very easy to play, yet the game gives you a lot of options for how to approach and tweak your shots. It's very funny too.

I haven't had the game long enough yet for the Switch to tell me how long I've spent playing ("first played 6 days ago"), but I wouldn't be surprised to be over the ten hour mark already.

Anyone ever played Payday 2? Not necessarily the switch version.

I’m intrigued by it. It gives me a kind of left 4 dead vibe.

Anyone recommend it?

I’ve read all the moaning online about it not being as U.K. to date as the other platforms in terms of content, but not having played those, it means nothing to me.

Is the game itself any good?

Grabbed 10 Second Run Returns as it was cheap (£4.30ish I think), s'fun! If you dig Meat Boy style platforming it's worth a look, it fits the Switch hardware like a glove. Has up to four player split screen too:

Also features...this as a playable character:

Chocolate Cream huh ._.

That makes sense, you will have to let me know what you think of the game when you get it

Personally, I'd steer well clear of all but the PC version. The Switch one is about 2 years behind in terms of updates, and the devs have been utter twats in the past.

Fisher, what do you use to queue up your forum posts so they post at the exact same time?

Arrrgh, everyone says the same thing. I’m not gonna play the PC version. It’s not an option for me.

Disregarding the other versions that are available, is the switch version any good? I know it won’t have the same content at launch, but is the game actually decent? Was the PC version decent 2 and a half years ago?

Same story online with everything. Too many reviews comparing something to other stuff rather than how good it is on its own merits. These comparisons are relevant for example to folk who have played it before, but to a subset of people it’s totally irrelevant.

http://www.trustedreviews.com/reviews/p ... ndo-switch

TL;DR

- terrible port
- awful muddy graphics and huge framerate drops
- controls not remade for the Switch and borderline broken
- rubbish buddy AI in SP
- Switch's poor online options aren't enough to make MP any better
- currently missing most of the PC version's content.

Don't do it.
