Of course they will. Hopefully, provided said claims can be demonstrably proven false in comparison to other titles, the industry will castigate them for it. Nintendo themselves could simply strongarm them into using higher capacity carts but they won't

So Nintendo have again announced DLC plans before release with Xenoblade 2. I'm pretty sure Zelda, Arms and Splatoon all had their DLC plans confirmed beforehand as did Mario X Rabbids and Pokken (I know they aren't Nintendo developed but still) b

Super Mario Odessy is the notable omission at the moment. I really don't think Nintendo would pass on DLC for what will likely be their best selling title on Switch without good reason. Especially as it would be pretty easy to fit-some new kingdoms, costumes and power moons on current kingdoms.

Makes me think they're holding back because they're going to go the Super Mario Galaxy 2 route and we're going to get a sequel in a few years.

I did the same. It's a good game to play multiplayer but I can't honestly say I've had my money's worth.

Do we know roughly how much the switch carts cost to publishers? I didn't know if they are just flash memory or a cheaper kind of write once ROM style system like you used to see in the past.

Given I don't really care about Yoshi and Kirby, is there anything to get excited about next year for Switch?

What are the odds of Pokemon or Animal Crossing actually releasing? Any more triple A adapted ports coming over (e.g. GTA)?

Wolfenstein 2 has been confirmed in terms of triple A ports.

From Nintendo, Kirby, Yoshi and Fire Emblem have been confirmed for next year. Metroid Prime 4 is unlikely but Pokemon might make holiday season.

Nintendo obviously have a lot more to announce though. They've said they plan to keep the consistent release schedule going and we know of nothing from their in house development teams for next year yet, whereas they released six titles this year. Plus there's likes of Retro and Next Level Games who are due a game. And there's developers Nintendo have worked with in the past like Monster Games, Camelot and Grezzo who might have something in the pipeline.

I think we'll have a big January Direct with some surprises.

Probably too early to tell, Nintendo now seem to prefer announcing games within a year of release and obviously they're concentrating on holiday sales right now.

Im officially getting a Switch for Xmas off the missu, it arrived yesterday and she asked me to check she got the right one.

So I know its in the house but Im expressly forbidden from opening it, as long as shes not expecting me to feign surprise on Xmas day I dont mind too much. Im really looking forward to getting stuck in with it. Im gonna keep an eye out for some game deals between now and then, be nice to have a little library of games to play over the festive period.

Anyone playing The Flame in The Flood? I’m really enjoying it, but finding it hard. Any idea if you are supposed to restart each time you die? It lets you start from a checkpoint, but I feel it’s better to start afresh, as the checkpoints are often at the point after things have gone tits up.

Forgot that No More Heroes is coming next year. I hope they put time and effort into it and don't rush it out. Both the NMH games on Wii felt like they could have been made into A grade games if they just put more thought and time in.

Honestly if they just released F-Zero X HD during the middle next year I will be happy.

I am deliberately holding off Wolfenstein on PS4/XB1 as I would pay a premium to have a top release like that in portable form.

Need to see more but with the indie developer idea I think they're onto a winner.
