ARMS is absolutely great in local MP. Really accessible for non-gamers, too.

Not that I want to throw another option at you but Snipperclips has a local co-op mode that's great fun.

Hmm, I wonder why a man who hates fun in all its forms would dislike ARMS?

It's a motion control fighting game for a portable machine, a gooseberry fool concept straight off. The art style is fan art bollocks.

Play ARMS without motion controls and it’s a much better experience imo.

Speaking of ARMS, they have a splatfest-esq style event next week, maybe we can get some people together for it?

No it's not, it's a fighting game for a portable machine with the option of traditional or motion controls. Both are fine to play the game. I've got over 50 hours on it and haven't even tried the motion controls.

Aye I can second this. First game which I think i'll be playing majority of it in handheld mode because its mental you can. Translates even better to handheld than I thought it would.

Give the motion controls a bash later on :shifty:

VR version will be ready and waiting for me to get home tonight!

I may even do a stream at some point tomorrow I think. Not sure how to play it though.
Might finally spend some time as an archer. It's not a playstyle I've ever used in it before so might be fun for VR.

ARMs isn't at the top of my list but I might pick it up if there's a discount. Is there a demo? In fact, are there many demos out there? I know there's one for snipperclips.

Nintendo must have been anticipating your question, Taf - the eShop was updated this week with a search option for demos :toot: .

I want to get a case for my Switch; just something to protect the screen unit and (connected) joy-con. I have been searching for a few months and have never really seen one that I liked the look of.

Until now. Behold the Hori aluminium case :datass: .

Urgh so close to buying Skyrim. Got a boring weekend at home due to being under the weather, and got long haul flights at Christmas.

But it's fifty ruddy pounds. For a game I already own on 360 (albeit can't actually play right now). And a game that came out in 2011. And a game that was £17 on PS4 two weeks ago.
