Or - another thought! - a new Nintendogs-type thing we you buy cuddly dogs / bears / whatever and pet / talk to / move the toy to accomplish on-screen goals.

Or some actual gaemz, that would be a new way to play.

It's an 'interactive experience' i.e. not a game?
It's for kiddy winks.

Someone on reddit suggested a Minecraft esque Nintendo game with amibo support that also utilities the IR scanner. Sounds plausible to me.

Infact, the more I think about-something like Skylanders/Disney Infinity but with Nintendo and amibos sounds a really good fit for making lots of money.

Completely forgot about the IR scanner. Just how fidelity is there?

Has to be some kind of toys-to-life thing, surely. Staggered they haven't done it already really, given that amiibos pretty much do strawberry float all. Would give them a reason to sell a tonne more of them and probably better suited to the Switch than the Wii U in terms of the platform.
