I would love this. Wouldn’t be surprised if this is what they’re actually doing too.

Just seen this on Nintendo Life and it's jumped to the top of my want list.

Good trio of games hoping to see at E3 Fisher, I'm hoping to see those 3 as well, especially Pokémon and Animal Crossing.

They’ve put it at 2018 or later so far. I don’t think it will take until late next year to arrive if at the start of this year they were still aiming for a 2018 release.

With Nintendo’s hardware targets I think they expect it to release this fiscal year (ie by March 2019). Their targets are pretty big and Smash won’t do it alone. Labo could have a big impact too of course but I think Pokemon is key to their sales targets.

This.

I would also like a remake of Metroid Prime Trilogy too, so it would be good to play them before Metroid Prime 4.

yeah but thats most likely a place holder date, weve all had games that were said to be coming at one point but ended up coming out later

True, but Nintendo's track record on release dates on the Switch so far has been very good, there have been no major slippages and except Xenoblade 2's poor optimisation in handheld, none of the games have suffered because of it. I certainly can't see them saying 2018 is a possibility and then it coming out late 2019, especially as there's been a lot of suggestion localisation started in February this year.

i just dont think we'll get pokemon this year based purely on how the previous generations last, usually when you get a new generation wed have started getting new pokemon, not that they dont change the way they do things all the time i guess gen 7 could yet prove to be the shortest gen

thats if its a new gen if its not then its fair game for this year

Night Trap 25th Anniversary Edition headed to Switch. Probably not here though, the PS4 version never released here, although they claimed it would. Thankfully it's easy to import on the Switch.

Having read earlier that the physical version of Wolfenstein II will require a download, I can only imagine that Night Trap - which must require a fairly large amount of storage space? - will also take this path.

I love Switch carts but I dislike - for some titles - having to download most of the main game seperately.

Dang. It's a lovely day and I don't want to put a downer on things :shifty: .

The US PS4 download is just over 7GB, so you'd imagine they could get it on an 8GB Switch card. But it's only going to be available physically from Limited Run Games. I'm tempted to import it, but I tend to miss all of these Limited Run Games pre-orders. I'll definitely import the digital though. I can't see it getting released in the UK since the PS4 release is still in limbo here. Thank god for the Switch being region free, both physically and digitally.
